I really hate that line of thinking. I get why people make that comment, but I really hate it either way. The answer is no. People who go through trauma typically don’t go around wearing revenge shirts. Policy shirts, maybe, but a “kill school shooters” shirt would be beyond weird.
Then he’d be weird as fuck to weird a shirt around advertising his hatred of pedophilia to the world. At some point he’d be expected to process his trauma so he can have healthy relationships with others. This is really basic emotional work we should all do.

Would they overwhelmingly support waving a crooked “X” around? No. Would they support a tyrannical system maintained through fear and violence where people are separated into in-groups and out-groups (and excuses are always found to put the most vulnerable people into the out-groups) and mass executions of those out-groups are considered acceptable? Unfortunately, all signs point to “yes”.
