I think any race conspiracy gives power to Nazis and immediately puts Jewish people at more danger. Making both US news and Zionism antisemitic. That’s all I’ve put together.

I really should’ve asked this in a post long ago, I just feel embarrassed about not knowing.

Antisemitism was (still fundamentally is) systemic in Europe because of the formation of capitalist nation-states.

The nation-state seeks to establish a difference between people based on borders, in order to prevent solidarity between workers who share a way of life, and even sometimes a language, customs, a religion, despite being born across borders. It will use anything to both unite the people inside its border and antigonize the ones beyond, especially racism.

Jewish people, as a disaspora, as well as any nomadic people like the Romani, fundamentally challenge the nation state because they are united beyond borders. Therefore they became prime targets for persecution. People literally said shit like “they can’t be trusted because they have no country, no state”

So the origin of anti-Semitism is that Europeans though that the Jews being stateless was bad. So when the Europeans are trying to “give” Jewish people a state, they are in fact trying to “fix” them. Zionism is an attempt by the anti-semites to make Jewish people conform to their worldview. Zionism wants to get rid of the cosmopolitans, it’s a project of sending the Jews “back home” so they leave Europe and stop being a threat to the oppressive capitalist regimes. Zionism wants to erase what makes Jewish people special and progressive. Zionism is the death of Jewishness.

Yes I formulated my post in a way that might imply that pre-capitalist Europe was chill with Jews which is obviously false.

Thing is, in medieval Europe, the Christians were apparently dead set on eradicating everyone else during this time, Jews included but not only.

But, when Europe became more secular and the first republics were established, there was progress on that front, even for Jews. So what begs an explanation is why did we stop crusades, the inquisition, massacres of protestants etc… but somehow, only for the Jews, shit escalated to trying to “send them back home” and later literally kill them all?

That’s where I bring the nation-state. It didn’t invent persecutions, it modernized it. It prevented the liberal ideals of the republican revolution from taking grounds.

Edit : I’m realising that I’m getting lost in the details here. My point is, the existence of a people as a disaspora is fundamentally progressive and Zionism is robbing the Jews of what makes them a historical force.

Zionists conflate Jewishness and the existence of the political state of Israel. To the point that any Jew that does not support Israel as a state or the actions of Israel is considered not a real Jew or a kind of race traitor.

This controlling of the thoughts and actions of Jews by zionists who may even be christian themselves is very much antisemetic

A state is not owed the allegience of a people based on their ancestry or belief

To add on to this, conflating those two things then gives ammo to actual anti-semites when Israel does fucked up shit. Committing a genocide while saying “We represent all Jews! And we are doing genocide for Jewish reasons!” understandably makes people associate Jewishness with doing genocide.

It’s monstrous to attempt to separate people from the ethnicity and culture they belong to, all in the name of power. I’m not Jewish, but Western propaganda does that with me my ethnicity and my culture all because a group of wannabe rulers want to rule my people. And the US wants a war base out of supporting them. Americans think it’s politically correct to try doing this with me. Just last night I came home, stewed, and cried after someone attempted to get along with me by doing that. I’m furious about it and I can’t imagine how antizionist Jews are feeling.

Zionism has an interest in making the rest of the world unsafe for Jews, as that’s one of its main justifications for Israel’s existence.

It’s a settler-colonial project, which means it requires an endless supply of bodies to throw into the project of subjugating and colonizing “the frontier.” The more they can create and feed the perception of ubiquitous antisemitism everywhere in the world–for instance, by insisting that college students protesting the settler-colonial genocide are actually calling for the destruction of Jews–the easier it is to sell the idea that they are the only “safe haven,” and thus the more bodies they get to throw into the machine.

Zionism is basically “What if Hitler, the nazis, and centuries of conspiracy theories were right about Jews? They cannot be trusted and they are not true members of our country. We should deport them somewhere else.”

It is an ideology of the Imperial Core that seeks to export antisemitism elsewhere, rather than eliminate antisemitism within their borders. They are not concerned about eliminating antisemitism at all. Of course, this is all a cover for Israel’s real purpose, which is to provide foreign militaries a foothold in the Middle East so they don’t have to pull off an Operation Overlord every time they want to invade.

It should never be read as, dual loyalty, and always as “dual” loyalty janet-wink. Where the person or people accused of having a dual loyalty are only loyal to one thing and are just faking any loyalty to the other.

I think it’s because there’s another layer. You can have loyalty to two countries (e.g. dual citizens), but nationalists clearly don’t like that and see it as traitorous and deceitful.

It’s applying a neutral thing to someone (on the basis of their ethnicity even if/though it’s not true) then saying that thing is bad, actually.

“They’re Jewish so they must also have loyalty to Israel which actually means they only have loyalty to Israel.”

That’s a great example of the idea of dual loyalty to use to explain to people in the USA because it’s so universally frowned upon today and understood as a barbaric act in the popular culture while being so completely disconnected to the anti-semetic counterpart that it makes for a clean example of the phenomenon. Perfect comparison, chefs-kiss

To add to what the comrade said, there is a centuries long history in Europe of Jews being accused of dual loyalty as an excuse to stir up antisemitic fervor and terrorize Jewish populations. The idea only really became common in Africa and the Middle East after the proclamation of the state of Israel and the Nakba which led to the expulsion/fleeing of most of the Jews in these countries who had lived in them relatively peacefully for centuries.

Read The Empty Wagon by Yaacov Shapiro (Or listen to his podcast) to answer the second question. This is not exactly how he would describe it: One way to conceptualize it is that the Zionist project, being a predominantly Western-Christian obsession, is just the most recent of the Crusades, and this time they deputized a bunch of Jews to be the point of the spear. The most basic way it is antisemitic is that it endangers more Jews than any other thing in the world today.

The us media supports it because Israel is a long-term us project centered around oil, trade routes, and military and surveillance technology and the us media is controlled by companies that have a huge interest in such things.

Zionism is an ethno-supremacists political movement. It is founded on the idea that racism is correct and that non-jews will always hate and kill Jewish people. Zionism gets to decide who is and who isn’t Jewish. Its proponents actively engage in stoking racial prejudice against Jewish people in order to convince Jewish people to immigrate to israel. In some cases Zionists go so far as doing terror against Jewish people and blaming it on anti-Semitic groups.

Zionism conflates the nation of israel with all people of Jewish heritage and religion treating them as a monolith which zionists are the only voice for. Zionism is harsh to any people who do not agree with it but it is especially harsh in silencing and persecuting Jewish people who do not agree with it. It is openly racist towards non white Jewish people (look up the forced sterilization of African Jews) and denies that Palestinians are descended from the people of iron age Israel (as much or more so than european Jews.)

    history

In 132CE Rome ordered expulsion of all Jewish people from Jerusalem because of a rebellion. The city dwelling people (accounting for most the ruling class and priesthood) went to Europe and Africa and other parts of Asia and became The Jewish Diaspora. But most people living in the villages and towns (the lower class) didn’t go anywhere. Most of the people stayed in Palestine (because they were poor). Over the years some of them became Christians and many converted to Islam and a few stayed Jewish. Palestinians are descendants of Jews who didn’t keep practicing Judaism.

This nation state claims to represent an entire race + religion and speak for all its members therein, goes on to do genocides, then says it’s okay because their chosen people want/need it. It’s deliberately trying to implicate those people, worldwide, as complicit with mass murder and war crimes.
