After talking with some friends I feel the need to return to this site with a reminder for the folks here that social media is virtual reality and not to get too caught up in it. Take some time to love yourself and develop skills, enroll in your local vocational school, learn a language, or connect with your community.

I was under the belief that hexbear and lemmygrad were “different” from other social media platforms, and of course they are in many ways. But after all the effort I put into educating people on this platform, just for the mass of conquistadors to turn around wielding yankee-centric xenophobic nonsense at every turn, I finally learned my lesson that this platform was a little more than a form of escapism while functioning as self harm for me.

My white coworkers who were born here constantly make jokes about being deported and being “stripped” of their citizenship because it’s so fucking funny when you know it’ll never happen to you
We could probably change that if we do enough praxis. Deport a few white chuds as a treat for retaking Turtle Island.

On one hand, nothing rlly dampens my day more than hearing how much historical leverage the U.S still has, especially over Colombia and Mexico, when it comes to deportation flights.
Yea we are still pretty much its satellites, on the bright side this whole situation may lead to more latam integration and solidarity with the Celac emergency meeting and México and Brazil finally having both center left govs, which would lead to a weakening of USA influence in the region
Yeah we’re either in for an amazing next couple of years as more govts in latam fly left or we have a very depressing future ahead with coups and color revolution.
I’m really praying this can happen.
