Wondering what you dorky libs think of it.
It’s where I learned if you eat a bunch of bananas, a whole cabbage, a live fish, whole roast turkey, bunch of carrots, loaf of bread and barrel of apples while on patrol you’ll get morbidly obese and your gun will shoot fat bullets too.
Uh oh, big!
i thought it was ok
I’m very bad at the nazi killing game but its fun to play when I don’t have to use quarters.
Very fun! I had it for the playstation and it was a challenge but I managed to beat it back in the day. More rewarding to just grab mame and cheese your way through it with unlimited continues though.
It’s pog, and many people are saying this, how many games can you blow away a outhouse and the pixelated guy inside falls in the ordure pit (with the little flush string)? Not many!
Very fun! I think I played Metal Slug 3 on the xbox arcade back in the day?
Fun, but I’ve only played a few. Good simple fun.
juicy as hell, check em out if you want to see the kind of extra touches and flourishes that make a game feel good
If I fire up my MiSTer FPGA project box and I have no idea what to play, Metal Slug is a go-to. If you can find a nerd to play with you, it’s an even better experience.
Pretty good port of MS1 on the Saturn, too. But needed a 4MB ram cart if I recall correctly.
I’ve never once actually played it but I’ve looked at its sprites and pixel art and have always really liked them.
First game is the best in the series, then it’s diminishing returns, especially after SNK goes bankrupt. 2 and 3 are still good, but 4 and 5 are just bad and about 90% recycled assets from the other games.

HEAVY-HEV-HEV-HEAVY MACHI-HEAVYMACHINE GUN-INE GUN
-the sound of me stealing all the upgrades and annoying my sibling
Excellent, especially 2 and 3. Run 'n gun peaked with Metal Slug 3.
The zombie/alien meteor level from 3 hit the absolute perfect blend of camp and horror for my child brain, and then hit it with some sick art that would go on to haunt me and define my aesthetics forever
Love it, I have all of them
Even the one on NeoGeo Pocket
