PoE in 2016 got ascendancy classes, an atlas expansion, and the labyrinth, and in 2015 it had just gotten act 4. So my first guess is it just got more popular because it got a shitload more content.

I know a literal rocket scientist who refuses to understand this and it drives me up the fucking wall. You should know even better than I do that fluid (like the goddamn atmosphere) dynamics exist, fluids don’t just heat up uniformly they turn into a huge mess of swirls and currents and new/misplaced weather patterns

Lojban is really funny to learn about when the other languages I speak are german and computer programming, the way the words are defined like function calls with arguments so you wind up making these huge extremely-literal compound words like you get in german

Any idea what the “vy” in “xavypitkubli” is doing there by the way? I gathered that the whole thing means (six)(??)(abbreviated form of “plane”)(regular shape) but couldn’t figure out what that second bit is doing in there. “Pentagon” had the same thing with the word for “five” being followed by an extra “m”

PoE classes were gender locked, although you were fully allowed to fuck off across the skill tree and build a 2H strength ranger or whatever

And then ascendencies were added as class-locked skill trees and made that harder to pull off
