Obsession with a plot! Obsession with a plot!

If Liberals aren’t fascists why are they using U-Fascism as a checklist for how to do ideology?

They just need a quick, easy way to dismiss people without actually engaging their argument. I get hit with something similar sometimes. “.ml, argument invalid.” because they don’t want to admit they’re supporting genocide.

Seems a bit of a stretch. Orientalism? Sure, I can see that. Antisemitism? I’m going to need some convincing.

i think in this specific instance its serving the same purpose of demonizing our ideas by using a popular hated strawman. which was jews at that time, but is russia now.

in general this is one the final purposes of these -isms and -phobias they keep pushing constantly.

yeah, fascism and racism have a close relationship, for example.

fascism can’t sustain itself without an ‘other’ out-group they can focus people’s anger at.

preferrably a minority that has a harder time defending itself and putting the ruse into question, but it can technically even be an entire other nationality.

the star trek instance defederation is the most haunting example of this.

i’d like to think that trekkies are more open minded; but it was another reminder that we’re the same as everyone else.

It’s also just completely inane. Okay let’s say I was a russian asset, does that change the fact that Joe Biden has deported more people? It’s just a thought killer meant to ignore any criticism.
