I also think wikis are a big missing feature compared to reddit.
However until such a feature is added there are various sources of free wikis such as code forges, miraheze.org, riseup.net etc. And if there’s flexibility about the software (not a wiki but another format) many more.
But going to another website, having to create a separate account, then someone has to manage all that, is a lot more work than having it integrated.
If you didn’t already solve this, may I suggest the material “corrugated plastic” which is the stuff they make lawn signs out of. Has the benefits of cardboard but is plastic therefor cleanable.
If you make a base out of wood or plywood, you can make walls and sections of corrugated plastic. I’ve also used combinations of wood, plywood, cardboard, foamboard, hardboard, plexiglass, metal, plastic canvas and random scrap plastic to create the perfect box for a job.
That said I can’t follow at all what you are actually hoping to build.

Maybe librivox audiobooks would have something you will be interested in? Librivoxes are available as RSS feeds, you can subscribe as a podcast and listen in exactly the same way. There are some comrades on there reading leftist works. french, italian. And there is advanced search so you can limit by genre etc.
On youtube you could start looking for speeches of great leftists & anti imperialists and follow the recs from there.

Do like Xenia does and get a thinkpad. My main computer is a $200 refurb thinkpad from eBay. They are known for good Linux support and because they are popular there is a big online community in case of trouble.
But your existing apple hardware can last a long time with Linux. Unlike Mac os it isn’t designed to get shitty after a few years to encourage buying a new one. I also have a 10+ years old Mac mini as a secondary computer and it runs decently with Debian.

I’ve always liked the superglue idea because it could really fuck things up but the prankster is far away by the time its discovered. Setting off an explosive at the same time sort of diminishes that.
