Kind of unrelated, why does c sometimes fail to print if it hits a breakpoint right after a print while debugging? Or if it segfaults right after too iirc
Does OSM have any bullet vending machines?
Edit it has two:

This is not how motion blur works at all. Is there a specific game you’re taking about? Are you sure this is not monitor ghosting?
Motion blur in games cost next to no performance. It does use motion data but not to generate in between frames, to smear the pixels of the existing frame.
Motion blur off looks like those high shutter speed fight scenes from the Kingsman movies. Good for a striking action scene but not pleasant to look at in general. Motion blur blends the motion that happen between frames like how anti aliasing blurs stairstepping.
Even if it says “licence” or whatever then I’d still not be fine with it not being permanent. The language isn’t the problem
They asked me to put my hands behind my back and all that stuff, and I realized what was going on.
Because she was too dangerous to be cuffed normally, or not cuffed at all?
Als I hate this doubly for the kid. Your mom getting arrested for your slightest sign of independence will fuck you up.
I thought with cow file systems programs didn’t have to explicitly reflink since normal copies are already reflinks?
Wow that California vote is atrocious. Thanks for your time
Is it just a blue filter with dynamic intensity?
We have those too, it’s just not what pisses people off. What pisses people off is our critical support of Russia, our support of China, DPRK, etc.
Might be true for lemmygrad, but for hexbear I’ve seen more people complaining about ‘trolls’ or ‘edgy teens’ than just communists. And the unwavering support from both these instances for the 2nd world makes me distrustful as well. Many people here seem more driven by 2nd world nationalism rather than just communism or anti imperialism
making a point of how bloodthirsty and set Americans can be on these things (genocide)
I guess it’s a good time as any to ask, do you (and other people here) really mean it when you say things like this or are they understood as hyperboles? “never attribute to malice what can be to incompetence” applies commonly in politics (as evidenced by that post about has Joe Biden dropped out Google trend) and is especially the case of Palestine imo. You could say regardless of if it’s hate or ignorance the result doesn’t change and I’d agree but it still doesn’t feel right to straight up call them bloodthirsty
Maybe to 5 year olds?
I thought its message was “not picking a side isn’t morally superior to picking a side even if picking a side doesn’t change the outcome, people will die either way and the guy holding the lever is a literal nazi”, which in my opinion extends to “so if picking a side has a chance to make it better it is immoral to not try”.
I’m not here to convince anyone of that, I was just confused why someone from here would make a meme seemingly mocking the usual hexbear position but it seems this was edited from a liberal meme
I’ve been learning to try to not flame as much as I lost quite a bit of control in the past two days
You’re doing good, thanks for taking the time to write this and sorry for assuming you were being hostile too. OP posted the original version of this meme in he other thread, which apparently didn’t have a text bubble for the above guy. It makes a bit more sense that this didn’t originate here.
I wasn’t trying to invalidate the meme referencing voting third party, it just seemed very much like a satirical mockery of doing so. I was confused why such a meme would be posted here, and if it wasn’t satire why op would make the bottom left guy’s speech so on the nose.
This being a criticism of us electoral system works, but even with the added nazi its other message also works for me (“not participating in electoral system wouldn’t be morally superior on its own even if the electoral system didn’t do anything [and was in the hands of nazis]”). But I think I’m overthinking it and this was supposed to be a low overhead ‘look how ridiculous their memes about us are’ post.
Expecting you or other communists here to spend all your mental bandwidth trying to be kind to strangers isn’t reasonable but I can’t but think if it would be better if this was a kinder place and didn’t get blocked by seemingly the most of lemmy users.
Calling my question stupid and that I don’t deserve an actual answer (justifying the other person quipping at ) isn’t rude? Your confrontational stance and underhandedly calling me a fascist isn’t rude? How would you rather have me ask if this meme is satire or geniune?
Some part of me refuses to believe that a stranger on the internet (and a leftist at that) told me to cry. WTF is wrong with you
Because I keep deluding myself every couple months into thinking I can have a normal fucking conversion with someone from this instance if I just walk on egshells. I have not talked down to anyone or attacked anyone, I haven’t even tried to argue against views I disagree with. All I was trying to do is learn if this post was genuine or satirizing what is depicted. In actually about to cry about this. Why are you so rude
And still, choosing an empty track doesn’t do anything neither other than letting the person on the bottom feel better about themselves. If the guy on the top is a play on the liberal ‘choose the lesser evil’ sentiment, what is the bottom guy about?
It’s valuing spiritual cleanliness (intellectual opposition to genocide) as much, if not more than material effects of real world actions. Or in the case of this meme, acting as if choosing an unrelated empty track is morally superior to pulling a lever that controls nothing.
I don’t intend to change anyone’s minds, I just thought the meme was too on the nose to be genuine
He tried to play Linus it seems
