This really should have laid bare to libs just how exactly things work in our ‘capitalist utopia’

The insane, multi-state hunt to find the shooter (who may not even be the guy), the ridiculous things liberal legislators have said in the days since, THIS derangement where CEOs get a batphone direct to the pigs…

But they’re all gonna vote blue for midterms and in 2028 while whining about leftists not wanting to work with them

“We need to change the system from within” is all well and good until you realize that the system is also being changed from within by people who are using the system as it’s intended. Reformist attempts are always paddling upstream. Conformist reaction always has the benefit of moving with the momentum of the system itself.

At some point the effort to shackle and tame capitalism and use it for good outweigh the benefits of keeping it intact.

Libs will never admit this, of course, because it’s “the least worst thing” or whatever bullshit somebody else told them that they conveniently never thought of themselves.

    The Ol’ Democrat Trifecta:

    1. Wastes public resources
    2. To do something that will not help the situation at all
    3. That will alienate the vast majority of their voting base for the supposed benefit of like 100 rich assholes

i think they are at the point where the party is so insulated from their base by fifteen layers of consultants that they think those 100 rich assholes are their entire constituency.

but as we know they are right because each of those 100 has tendrils weaving through tens of thousands of “influencers” and “thought leaders” through ownership and patronage.

who in turn have tendrils through millions more shitlibs tuned into this stuff because it makes them feel smart and “informed”

still not enough though for a dying party in a dying nation in a dying system

Just imagining the non imminent threat version, like the non-emergency hotline and it’s just CEOs listening to CEO asmr (which I assume is someone reading Ayn Rand over the phone while some poor person is softly sobbing in the background about not being able to afford food/medicine/rent) that’s somehow costing taxpayers $50,000,000.

      $50,000,000.

At least. I actually wonder what the budget will be. Can you imagine the grifting done by the police? For example - they’ll claim they need a state of the art “headquarters” for CEO911™.

Yes, please. Please do this. Make it even more obvious that this country has different rules for the rich and the poor. Keep showing it to the masses.
