I agree, but there’s a difference between getting it out of the way early on rather than ruining a fun casual date with complex depressing political talk

I have to say that I think I earn a lot of respect from people by stating that I am a communist and then explaining and defending my position with passion.

Being a communist is sexy too, so there’s that.
