I’ve gotta work this haloween and would like to make the best of it, mostly what I need is as many misfits songs without swears as possible. I think the rest I’ve got handled. Most goth is pretty clean and the rest is soundtracks. If you have any suggestions I’d also like some. I’ve got Monster Mash and Canadian classic C’est L’Halloween down.
Yellow Parenti, obviously

May I suggest Monster Mash en Espanol
Strangest Faces - Bayside (I think there is one F-word)
Don’t Fear The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
3 AM - Eminem (technically, I don’t think there are any curses [he says “shit” and “ass” once], but the lyrics talk about drug use, dismemberment, and masturbation lmao)
The lullaby from Young Frankenstein
Random audio cuts from classic monster movies like King Kong, Godzilla, and Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin
Giant Steps - John Coltrain we’re fucking with the audience at this point
Mad World - Gary Jules (Donnie Darko soundtrack)
The Time Warp (Rocky Horror)
In The Light - Led Zeppelin (riffs sound absolutely demonic)
Random cut to The Simpsons. Doctor Nick: “The red thing’s connected to my… wrist watch”
Iron Butterfly - In a Gadda Da Vida (You can take a shit, smoke a blunt, lose track of reality, regain your senses, and take a second shit before this song finishes)
Because I Got High (Christmas Remix) (My jack-o-lantern is frozen, it’s still outside)
The Road to Shambala - Three Dog Night (LOST is spooky) (you are turning on the lights and telling everyone to go home by now) …
I’m limited to iTunes music so I’ll see, but this bops and I’d love to
Spanish Monster Mash played on the jukebox at a bar in Mexico in like… Febrero, and I completely lost my mind.
I’ve has a running bit at work of playing monster Mash for every holiday and sneaking it into the Christmas song Playlist we reluctantly do for tips. It’s cause of.the simpsons. ‘It’s kind of a valentines day song, they’re coming together and keeping their evil in check.’ And kinda wanted to specifically not have monster Mash as a gag and this is the perfect way around it. I’ll see about other languages too, I bet German monster Mash is funny as hell

You gotta have both
And
Shuffle the playlist and when the song comes up see how long it takes for you to notice which one it is.
Edit: what’d I do to piss off skynet? It keeps sending robots to my front door to yell at me about YouTube frontends.

Monster Mash: Trap Remix
Wannabe at maximum volume on loop. While this doesn’t seem spooky at first, the inevitable loss of sanity will be very Halloweeny.
Every Day Is Halloween by Ministry
Fall Children by AFI
Sixteen Days / Gathering Dust by This Mortal Coil
Last Halloween party I hosted (Oct 2019) I had every genre of music except Halloween related.
Linger and Dreams (but not Zombie) by the Cranberries (not that Zombie is Halloween related anyway).
Buffalo Soldier by Bob Marley and the Wailers
Spanish Flea by Herb Alpert
9 to 5 by Dolly Parton
Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne
Come Out Ye Black & Tans by the Wolf Tones
The original Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen
I Wish by Stevie Wonder
Greensleevs
Mind you, I actually had Halloween decorations and people were dressed up, only a couple people noticed the playlist had Wham!, Black Sabbath, Avicii, Dolly Parton then Greensleeves played after each other.
Nick Lutsko has a bunch of stuff since he normally does a song a week in October for Halloween.
