Ah, remember the vague and comforting notion that someone in power must be looking out for you on some level, because it’s the right thing to do, and they wouldn’t be in charge if they weren’t right?

Hey, you were a child, just think of all the liberal adults who somehow simultaneously believe that we live in a meritocracy and that 50% of the people in power are completely incompetent.

Not that I envision anything productive coming of that conversation. Probably just a courtesy “piggy bank already smashed to fund ongoing genocide” notice

Apparently it’s bad. I have a co-worker who was National Guard for 20 years and he said his friends that are still at the base have been told that they can’t mobilize because of lack of funding.

Apparently that’s pissing them off so he has 2 senior (19 years) guardswomen who went AWOL and commandeered a truck and several younger guardsmen filled with supplies coming to WNC.

If I’m hearing that story, I’m guessing they’re not the only ones. If they keep dragging their feet like this, they’re gonna start having more mutaneers like this.

If this hurricane coming towards Florida is even half as bad as Helene and they continue to deny mobilization we might start seeing some decades happening. Or they’ll just manage to normalize mass death at home and abroad…

    Harris’s

Pretty cool how our news as a whole has decided that Biden is already out of office and we have no need for reminders that he ever existed. He’s not doing anything right now and we don’t need to pretend that he should be expected to or mention it in any way.

Politics is who gets what, where, when, why, and how. One of the most fundamental conflicts within that is the needs of the group vs. the wants of individuals within the group. This is probably the most basic definition of politics and is why everything should be considered political.

Chuds understand resources are finite, yet are incapable of understanding even the most simple consequences of this dichotomy. There is no way to discuss hurricanes destroying entire cities without it being political by definition.

Political in the gamer sense I guess, probably thinking it would make him look “weak and gay” to call upon the Demon rats

I find it funny how some time ago, there was an article about Biden just straight up saying that he didn’t want to take responsibility for immigration. Literally none of these guys even want to work their jobs at all.
