  • cut aid to Egypt

This is not what the “realist zionists” want to hear. The US has essentially been paying Egypt off since the Camp David Accords to not fight isntrael and all the US interventions. Egypt has been #2 in US milliary aid for decades because at least they had enough sense to charge a high price for, let’s be honest, betraying the rest of the Arab world. But the Egyptian government sees that aid as payment for services rendered, not charity. Cutting that aid will only increase tensions between Egypt and the Zionist entity and could even provoke Egypt into searching for a new ally for its defense needs.

Not to say Egypt would go to war over this though, they are way too reliant on US equipment to afford that (its like 85% American procurements). Despite that overreliance, Egypt is still not in a situation where they will rapidly collapse if the US ends military aid, so despite the high cost this isn’t as much leverage Trump probably thinks it is. Bush and Obama tried yanking on this chain during the Arab spring, when the Egyptian government was on much shakier ground, and Egyptians didn’t budge. Nothing came of it because those ghouls knew the US was getting to much out of the aid to cut it over trying to support a color revolution. So I really don’t see Egypt moving over this threat. If trump does actually cut the aid, then LMAO I’m sure China will be happy sell whatever Egypt needs replacements for.

  • Vacuous American settlers are never going to understand that every inch of Gaza has been sanctified with the blood of martyrs. Every hour of every day that the Palestinian people remain in their homes is the greatest memorial to the dead and an insult to the occupier. Their resolve is a great inspiration.

In response to Trump’s comments, Mousa said that she endured all manner of suffering just to be able to return to her home. “It was the happiest moment of my life, even if my home was destroyed,” she said, adding that she wanted to embrace every grain of sand in Jabalia. She added that Trump wasn’t the first Westerner with no connection to the land to try to decide its people’s fate. “It’s like the Balfour Declaration,” she explains. “Trump wants to uproot us for the sake of an occupier.”

But Mousa believes that no such plan will succeed. “We will remain here above the rubble until we rebuild it,” she says. “Nothing worse can happen than the war of extermination we have already experienced, and even it did not succeed in removing us from our land.”

“If they offered me an entire city instead of the rubble of my home, I would not accept it,” Mousa added emphatically. “Homelands cannot be replaced. Homelands are like your blood and soul…Palestine is our land and our country, and we will not leave it under any pressure or plans.”

  • trump may be serious but its never going to happen. He already missed his best opportunity, Gazans are returning north to whats left of their homes yet their attitude appears remarkably steadfast despite the devastation. If years of relentless isntraeli bombardment didn’t force them to leave no “deal” trump comes up with is going to convince them to just abandon their land after all this.

Furthermore, the Egyptian government views a Palestinian refugee crisis as an existential threat. Their fragile nation cannot handle a million more destitute, radicalized refugees and they also have the massive war in Sudan to worry about in that regard. Jordan is deeper in the US pocket but it makes even less sense logistically

  • the Mexican border guard postings might as well be a domestic jobs program. that’s not even a real concession, usually nations pay to get foreign militaries away from borderlands. I think Sheinbaum or her team really got one over on trump/rubio there. The Canadian deal is just “drugs are terrorism” policies to mask civil repression, which is something they were already doing. And the opportunity to create a new alphabet agency for “counterterrorism” is like Christmas day for feds of all nationalities.

Actually these “deals” are so cheap I feel trump has to be trying to come back for more in a month

  • Contradictorily I wish x-com or Xenonauts toyed more with unique geopolitical situations, specially the latter with the cold war. It would make a lot of sense for different countries to have very different reactions to alien contact in general for cultural, geopolitical, economic reasons in any context

Terra invicta is an in-dev game that focus more on this aspect, but the geopolitics kind of drop off mid game in favor of space colonization being more powerful, which is a shame because imo the early game political maneuvering is more fun than the rest of a campaign right now. There’s only a 2022 start now but supposedly a cold war start is planned.

  • take back control of the Arctic to keep Russia and China out

bruh, its not them you need to worry about. Alaska is right there and the US sure as hell ain’t paying you leafs any transit fees when the Northwest passage starts becoming commercially viable. You are going to have the USS Ronald Reagan sailing down the St Lawrence dunking on you when you try to cite international sea law
