  • My work is very mobile so I have a lot of stuff with me, but the essentials are: Backback with laptop, water bottle, pen, post-its, paper, snacks like nuts/trailmix, masks, disposable gloves, hair brush, chargers and their wires, a nose insert thingy that masks smells.

Pockets have: Keys and id card in my neurodiversity lanyard, phone, home keys

    Lib balm

    Pastilles (xylitol)

    Nasal spray

A CPR mouth cover in my keychain

    Pack of handkerchiefs

    Bluetooth ear buds

A reflector or many in my clothes in the dark months

  • Same experience here, but am a bit older and the people around me have become very anti-capitalist. Including older previously very turboliberal ex-hippies. But most still are Nato leftists at best and discuss Ukraine or any actually important topic from the national news pov. They are still entirely sold on the myths of equality, social democracy and electrolar politics. There is a lot of petition signing, lots of bourge media consumption, lots of sending money to ngos and also a lot of brunch.

And lots and lots of voicing discontent as long as the current outrage lasts and then going back to brunch and forgetting about it.

Most have work, studies, kids, lots of dept and no time or energy to engage with any of this on a serious level.

How to get these people to really care is the big question for me too.

  • I did this stuff actively for a long time and enjoyed the focus parts and skill parts of it. Am fairly competitive so did a few competitions as well and enjoyed it. It was also good for my physical self-esteem, but that I feel could have come from any sport I like. The actual physical stuff can be pretty fun and challenging. I think it’s a bit of a neurospicy catnip that kept me humming pretty well in everyday life.

But, the people doing these sports were often not the best people, at least not where I am from. Cops, violent men, misogony and just all that. I participated in these sports as a woman and it always took me twice as much effort to get the belts or whatever “the boys” got very easily. I was also ostriciced a lot due to my gender.

There was lots of stanning for Japan and a lot of the sort of weird male hierarchy that felt very uncomfortable. Eventually I quit and just instructed fitness boxing for others, just as a sport for all kinds of people, genders and bodies.

I sometimes miss the actual sports, but not the clubs and people. I still practice at home and do some online martial arts combat classes sometimes, but just for covid alone I would not go back to doing this face to face anymore.

  • No way to be clearer in showing how they think the Asiatic Hordes are colluding to bring down “the core”.

What makes this even more pathetic is the fact that Finland was never really apart of Europe and this was always a big problem for the local ruling class.

This area of land was occupied by various peoples that were ruled over by Sweden and Tsarist Russia. Most of us are very much Asiatic Hordes ourselves if we really bother to look at where we are from, but the national bourge (they were in fact largely european) have always had such an inferiority complex over this that they have managed to infect the people with that same complex and this imo explains a lot of the anti-Russia sentiment today. I’ve spent my entire life listening to people whining about Finlands place at international tables. The EU was sold to us on this premise and this is what got us into NATO as well.
