I do love people that assume shit about a completely anonymous person on the internet. Their self-righteousness skips across the airwaves so easily, and without any basis in reality.
And the sheep keep buying the overpriced equipment.
I mean…
To each their own :) just be mindful of the risks of distraction
None. I really think distractions like a movie lead first to bad form and skewd rest time, and maybe to injury. Obviously this doesn’t apply to indoor cardio…
This is a great write up! I would add that also the more affordable lenses nowadays are really sharp and much better optically than anything previous. More money gets mostly just more light gathering capability and water and dust proofing.
I think this applies to tablets but bezels on a phone are pretty useless.
I think Silca is what you want. But I don’t know if you want to pay for it :D
Talking of surprise: I was ready to return our not-yet-dispatched MacBook Air (orderer on 20th October) as it only had 8GB and… they updated the product to 16GB! That’s neat, now I get why the delivery time was longer than expected.
Always the same, push to the outside and force the other driver to crash or bail. Usually with a net “advantage” gained, over and over the same unsportsmanlike tactic. It’s really a pity that one of the fastest drivers is unable to compete fairly and is just not fun to watch.
And the Verstappen Move strikes again 🕺
Nice and thoughtful video, thanks for sharing! But he calls out two tweets of him, saying that Hubermann probably doesn’t really think that way, so saying he is a clown is perhaps a bit much? I enjoy his podcast a lot, but I fully get the point that Strong Medicine makes. Nevertheless, Hubermann gives a lot of very nicely packaged advice, on how to tweak here and there to get a bit more from one’s everyday life - but those tweets are really horrendous I must say
You mean the iPad standalone and purely touch interface or with attached keyboard and mouse? Pretty sure that - with physical keyboard - Cmd+T opens a tab with focus on address bar, but I don’t have my iPad with me right now to test this
Perez is so slow, slowing down on an outlap is not enough to let him through
Yes it feels secure. The magnets are very strong and the locking geometry has tight tolerances, so that on the cutting plane there is no movement whatsoever. And even when a side force is applied to the blade tip, the blade moves but remains engaged, because the two magnets in the back keep it in place. The only thing to look for is avoid scraping the blade edge to the inner side of the body - the mechanism is very “fidgety” but using it too much dulls the blade. You can avoid this scraping by pulling the edge away, but you have to purposely think about it. I even imported it to Europe from the US, so to you it will cost surely less than to me ;)
My office carry is the Exceed Designs TiRant Razor-M: awesome mechanism and really compact. Really expensive, too…
Here paired with its sibling flashlight EDC:

Nice little QoL feature right there!
It should be a pressure relief channel coming from the wheel arch: wheel rotation creates a complex air flow and I think this channel lets trapped air flow outwards (and stay attached to the vehicle sides, improving aerodynamics). Probably I got much wrong and more probably still, it’s of no real use for a road car driving under 200km/h.
Edit: could also be linked to brake cooling, now that I think of it…
