It won’t say antiperspirant on the label, it will just say deodorant, which means it doesn’t have any of the chemicals or metals they use to block your pores (or however it works, I’m not an antiperspirantologist)

The suspect is not 100% blameless, he did hop the line, he was not following lawful commands, and he was holding a knife. Now that is a really sketchy situation because a knife can kill you real quick, real life is not like Hollywood. But he did not try to stab anyone with it and he was not threatening anyone. Cops love to talk about how a knife can kill you from 20 feet but that ain’t gonna happen when they have already drawn on him. So none of that validates their response. They could have easily backed up temporarily, called for backup, tried the tasers again, waited for him to calm down a bit, or 20 other things than unloading their guns in a crowded subway station. Idiotic. The ONLY reason they should have fired is if the suspect was attempting to harm someone. I hope they are fired and charged with negligence at the very least, attempted manslaughter sounds even better.

But I agree with you. No matter what this guy did, these cops engineered an unnecessary confrontation and then shot innocent bystanders, the suspect, AND themselves. They are to blame. They are not qualified to use firearms in the performance of their duties because they lack good judgement.

I’m going to make a wild guess and say we probably have different DNA. 😂

Yeah I dunno, it doesn’t affect everyone like that obviously but I’ve told that to several people over the years and many of them were like “yep exactly” so it’s not that uncommon. But my pits used to soak my shirt at work, at a fucking office job. It was gross. Once I stopped using antiperspirant after reading/hearing/finding a pro-tip (from where, I have forgotten), that issue completely went away.

I’ve taken 5 years of German and self studied some Russian and Spanish, and goddamn that gendered noun shit is really, really hard for native English speakers.

Kidding aside, I lived in East Anglia for a few years as a kid and I don’t remember the British kids saying it that way either, but that was a really long time ago and my memory ain’t what it used to be! I think. I can’t remember how it used to be actually.

Huh? I have lived in every corner and the middle of the United States and I have never heard anyone pronounce the TH in clothes no matter the accent. It always sounds like close as in to close the door.

Unless you are thinking of cloths, as in a pile of wash cloths.
