Wow, I just brought this guy up in a discord and refreshed my feed and here you are talking about him too! Now I have to reply or something?

Has this man ever done anything or is his entire career a grift.

I watched Judgement Day religiously on G4TV and while I liked Victor Lucas more I loved the insane rants that Tallarico would go on only for Victor to nod his head and move onto the next game.

EDIT: I had to dig this video up of the first time that Victor met Tommy doing an interview at E3. Like as much as I love to watch people bash on him at one point in his past he was passionate about video games. Like he deserves the bashing he gets but I really wanted something better for him than what he became.

High school math teacher vs. drug dealer.

Edit: One of the comments was thinking the same thing. Damn. I was gunna’ go with English teacher vs. Pimp too.

I love their dynamic and it never changed between them during those years. They play well off each other with Victor being the straight man and Tallarico the funny man.

Sort of a tangent but I have to say that Victor Lucas is one of most influential persons in the video game journalism field. When he setup The Electric Playground in 95 they were hosting their reviews off of dial up internet. There is a good interview with him a few years back that is worth a listen if you are into history at all.

Yeah, watching Electric Playground and Judgement Day/Reviews On The Run was probably the first time I ever saw two adults talk about video games in my life. I still like Victor and despite really disliking Tommy’s views on games 90% of the time I did have good will towards him. Too bad he’s a terminally-online reactionary dipshit credit thief and a liar.
