Looking at this through a leftist and class conscious lens, absolutely, the Bidens should be held to the same standards as everyone else. But the right-wing ghouls conducting this investigation and many of the rags reporting on it aren’t doing it for justice. They don’t care about that. They actually love punitive drug laws. To them this is nothing more than “payback” for Dems prosecuting similar cases against Trump and his nepo babies. Not to mention I bet if you dig deep enough into Congress alone you could find dozens or even hundreds of elected officials who have also spent tens of thousands on drugs and sex workers, but few of them will ever face so much as a moment of scrutiny.

If congress was united right now they would be pushing through more border walls and more Ukraine funding, a functioning American congress is a bad thing. The best case scenario for us is that they are distracting themselves and causing contradictions to lock-up.
