It’s been a few months since the last time I posted this, so it’s time to take another look!
Just like with Reddit, I’ve just been saving things to read/watch/review later on and I haven’t been going through it.
Sort by old for the stuff you’ve REALLY forgotten about. This also gives you an opportunity to unsave stuff that you’ve since resolved (and replace them with other stuff people post in this thread)
To see your saved posts, click on your profile in the top right, then switch to saved in the menu
Everytime I finally go through my saved posts again it’s like uncovering a treasure trove of cool stuff
Same! I just need to remember to go through it more often
I think it’s an underrated practice in general.
Writing notes, saving notable/interesting things or highlights from articles/books/films etc and then going back through what you’ve saved.
This super cute reaction I got from @[email protected]
https://sh.itjust.works/comment/2420525I like to save interactions I have with other users.
That’s amazing 😊

“The Absolute Minimum Every Software Developer Must Know About Unicode in 2023 (Still No Excuses!)”
If you’re a software dev, or just interested in how computers represent text, it’s a very good read.
This pic. Just in time for Halloween I guess?
That’s so cool…
Mines just porn lol
(asking for a friend…who is also me. I’m the friend.)
Where is the porn on Lemmy?
My instance doesn’t block it, so it’s everywhere.
Most of the posts come from lemmynsfw.com

Read this if you want to get rid of hiccups.
Seriously. I tried it and it works.
I can just control my breathing and simply will them to stop
I gotta try this next time
When you get hiccups, the trick is to stretch out your diaphragm. So, inhale as deep as you can, and hold it for as long as you can, even if you hiccup once or twice while holding your breath, the hiccups go away almost immediately
I haven’t saved a lot if things, but this 3D printed robot dog is probably one of the coolest things that I have saved.
This post about text generation models failing to infer that, if A is B, then B is A.
Rest of my saved content is mostly my own comments, things that I feel proud of. e.g. analysing one of my favourite poems or an anime intro song.
