This was an interesting tip I was able to confirm: if you have Last Gasp unbound and enabled on Vazarin, and you bring a Vasca Kavat with Transfusion, as long as you’re solo you can use Last Gasp to Vaz-rez your Vasca who will then revive you. Transfusion does not have a cooldown when soloing. Although as Vaz, the only thing that can kill you is not having access to Protective Sling.
More methods I’m working on include using Void Sling to clip out of the arena and leaving some sort of distraction behind, like Decoy, an Ancient Protector, or maybe a Styanax specter.
As a Vazarin player I firmly believe nothing in this game should be executionally difficult, I just need to lab out the most convoluted cheese imaginable.
There is an exploit with Last Gasp which essentially makes you unkillable, it has been reported on the forums.
Ignoring exploits though because those really aren’t fun and can be patched in a future update. Specters can help a lot for drawing enemy fire in phase 1 because hitscans are unavoidable (aside from some accuracy penalties), and shoot the reinforcements as they’re coming down into the arena for an easy kill because the RPGs do a significant amount of damage to the boss.
Invisibility from Ivara’s arrows/sentinel can be helpful here too.
Fishing around on the forums yielded the idea of running Djinn with recovery time mods, Sacrifice; and then helminthing Dispensary with Repair Dispensary as an augment.
I don’t think the Vasca behaviour is an exploit though, just another one of Warframe’s surprise mechanics.
The exploit was
activating Last Gasp at 00:00 of your bleed-out timer.
I found Sacrifice along with Bond mods reducing your companions recovery timer to be fairly helpful.
Honestly I find the fight more tedious than hard, though it kinda sucks that a weakpoint boss is best beaten by slamming melee weapons and arca plasmor style AOEs. At least if you don’t want to settle in for an hour which is what it took me to shoot it to death with laetumn that one time.
Is this when doing it on Steel Path Ultra Hard Sekrit Mode?
Because otherwise it’s not hard. Just tedious.
Yeah, SP hard mode. The main limiting factor is not being able to revive, which the Vasca works around. Same trick is true for the 60 eye fight on Deimos.
