I have learned a great deal about various people on the web but especially on reddit/lemmy. Among others that I may also belong to some demographic. I am more willing to give everyone a benefit of doubt and also I know that sometimes we just look for an online fight and that is the only point of some of the comments. Or affirmation and feel good for someone sharing our view.
It is an easy, zero resistance way to bury some things quickly, before you collapse from panic attack in a long supermarket queue.
It only makes sense that the social media are extremely grating on the eyes to browse.
