Have made a gingerbread dough and it’s chilling in the fridge. Miniest made me do it 🫡 I’m sure she likes to eat the dough as much as the finished gingerbread, it smells like Christmas. I just realised I don’t have a gingerbread emoji, so 🫚🍞
Home made gingerbread is the best!

Just got through the first season of Happy Valley. For all the typical story beats, dang is this well acted and the dialogue tightly written… Sarah Lancashire is amazing. And I absolutely want to murder Tommy Lee Royce.
Also strikes me how much technology had changed in ten years. None of the kids are glued to mobile devices…

Old man changed the aircon remote language to polish somehow. So, had a crash 2min course in polish and now I’m fluent and can fix all your accidental language changes from polish to english. But seriously, that is a severely difficult language.
It’s an insane language! I just cannot get any pronunciation right at all with Polish 😭
Sounds like when I bought a phone from overseas and it was set with Chinese as the default. That was a fun experience.

I’ve had a few Polish friends over time and when I have a go at saying things, they all say I speak Polish like a Russian. They’ve not said it unkindly, but…

I can’t find her cone of shame to stop her and it’s a hassle to buy a bib but I managed to get a baby onesie that might fit over her upper body and stop her accessing it.
if it’s stress, I got misha one of those fake fur spreads from the reject shop and she obsessively grooms that when upset instead.
Yeah it started during cleaning for an inspection (she hates cleaning and I’d run out of zylkene) and it’s persisted for some reason. She’s back on the zylkene but a lower dose than previously
I have a faux fur blanket but she doesn’t lick it
The cool change has come across at just the right time. It has cooled down enough that I could take Mr Woof for our after work walk, and we are done in plenty of time to avoid the rain.
