It’s when a knight is dubbed. They kneel before the king/ queen, apparently
Ooohh!! I don’t think I’ve ever heard that word used in any context/conjugation other than the specific phrase

Or maybe that same sentence in past tense (“dubbed”).
I’ve definitely never heard it conjugated in present continuous. But it stands to reason that it would be a word.
