This is like the platonic ideal of a bonsai
There were so many gorgeous bonsais at that museum. It’s a pretty small museum, but I highly recommend it if you’re ever in the Seattle area.
IIRC this Japanese white pine was a gift to one of the US presidents from the government of Japan. Is that true or was that a different tree?
