That’s just the validation to their base of ignoramuses who’ve been deluded into believing the root cause of our societal decline is women having rights.

The actual goal of our owners with abortion/contraceptive bans (for the poors, they’ll always have both) is to maximize the number of desperate wage slaves in the pipeline to be consumed as batteries for the private of profits and ego scores of the owners and their nepo dynasties. The owners aren’t against women in the workforce like their rube Republican voters, they’re the ones that made two incomes a necessity for a family to survive, solely to maximize the growth/metastasis of their ego scores because 1 wage slave per household wasn’t recklessly growing their quarterly earnings fast enough.

The war on poor women is just another battle in the only real war, the one we aren’t willing to fight back on as we’re deluded into fantasizing about being on the winning side; the class war. Conditions will continue to get worse until men, women, progressives, and regressives alike recognize our true common enemies in their towers, clubs, luxury complexes, and guard gated communities, using their media machines to stoke our infighting as they divide and profit, burning the world as they do.

Boom. Rich white men love fucking women and want abortion access. They might even genuinely love and respect women, like kinda - as individuals - minus what really matters (their treatment of the whole through policy).

These losers aren’t waking up salivating about controlling somebody’s body when it comes to sex. They wake up wondering how they’re going to make more MONEY. And amass more power and the benefits and connections and respect that comes with it.

If impoverished people must be sacrificed, it just doesn’t matter. The sacrifice is not the goal.*

      M-O-N-E-Y & power!

This is important because it changes the way you fight.

*(for most, obviously you’re always going to have some nut jobs who are in it for cruelty’s sake)

The problem has always been rampant capitalism.

No system is without corruption, but late stage capitalism is fucking ugly

I’m far more partial to a semi-planned economy, personally.

Edit: additionally, although we are talking specifically about the states, I feel this image still applies to the discussion on class. For context, Tommy Douglas was the man responsible for Canada’s nationalized healthcare

you’re right. elizabeth warren actually gave a conference presentation on this before she ever even got into politics. but also the 1% shitting their pants over the declining birthrate is all about money. it doesn’t matter who’s spending the money to raise a kid (parents or taxpayers), all that money is going into someone’s pocket regardless. and consider that all the food, clothes, dr. appointments, medicine, gas, etc etc that is consumed just by one kid–that money isn’t spent if the kid was never born

      Fucking bingo!

I rarely see evil for the sake of evil as in “hating women because they hate women.” It’s almost always money

“The pursuit of money at all costs is the root of all evil.”
