you ignore the socioeconomic reasons for joining the military. You ignore all the reasons for why one could have to join or have a good reason to. You lack the nuance of understanding the positions of immigrants, working class, and trans people too. No but you are right fuck them. They were awful selfish people for doing what they needed to provide for their families, they are awful for wanting a stable place in society and steady income. They are awful for wanting healthcare and not wanting to live destitute. They should have just died in poverty or stayed in their own countries and had their own families rot
