I am catching up on Dragonball Daima, and it’s pretty good!
The animation looks clean, but not overly CG, unlike the unlamented Sand Land.
I also intend to watch some Villainess In History since that seems to be a big hit this season.

I really hope anime doesn’t fall into the same trap that Hollywood has in cranking out remakes of old IPs every couple of decades just to renew the copyrights.
It wastes scarce production resources i.e. animators, crowds out the market for new ideas, and even the geezers (like me) who watched this stuff in its time want to see something more relevant to the current times.
During that whole planning sequence, everyone seems to have forgotten about Gluttony.
The whole “let’s split up so we can cover more ground” thing doesn’t strike me as the smart thing to minimize casualties.
5 of them seemed to have a hard time tackling only Lust. How is splitting up into pairs going to work?
The wedding crashers scene was cool though.
Good episode!
Chizu er, General Dante finally gets a costume and a transformation sequence.
They saved money because they already had her magical stick too!
Chrome holding up the action due to his incompetence…
The patch on Chrome’s coat made me lol
No satellite photos of the ammo depot they targeted yet, so we’ll have to see whether they were successful…
Now if the porn creators leave Xitter for BS/Mastodon, that’ll be the end for them…
Listening to Finocchio’s/Roswaal’s VA steal scenes is a pleasure as always…
I think he gave up on making Noel join the family a little too easily.
I wonder what Noel traded for Koga’s ownership?
Good episode!
Yoshino intentionally sending KIrishima mixed signals whether she likes him or not…
I get such a kick out of watching Yoshino acting on her Yakuza “instincts”, but in a romance heroine way.
And you’ll also need a grinder that can make espresso fine grounds. Your blade grinder won’t work for that.
I hope the UAF makes good use of it in the month or so before Trump takes office…
I remembered your words from last week the ENTIRE time. Bechdel Test Failure XD
To be fair, most shows fail the Bechdel test.
But this show’s treatment of women seems particularly noxious, but again, to be fair, women in RL motor racing are pretty much treated as car decorations.
It’s still confusing, but at least the plot feels like it’s going somewhere.
A FUG trap to do what to Bam/Yoru/Jue Voile Grace?
Why even bother with green-and-black tracksuit guy, if FUG and Mad Dog hold all the cards? Maybe he was the only participant on their half of the island who wasn’t in cahoots with them?
I thought this was an exciting episode.
The Ferrari slowly reeling in the 86 as conditions dry out.
That reminds me of a Formula 1 race where Michael Schumacher’s slower Ferrari was set up for the anticipated wet conditions better than the normally-faster McClaren or Renault of Fernando Alonso(?)
That was a thrilling race, and this episode captured that suspense well.
No, women don’t think of anything except how to please their men… :-/ 😒

Tracks:
A World Of Joy by Dave Rodgers feat. Kaioh
Maybe the Haitians’ employers in Springfield should have campaigned harder against Trump.
Or maybe even Ohio politicians in their state’s economic interest?
But no…
BlueSky’s been getting a ton of press lately.
Their PR department must be working overtime.
Not a peep about Mastodon though.
Blue Lock’s goal was pretty spectacular! It probably wouldn’t happen in real life, because physics, but let’s not worry about that.
Itoshi Sae’s not getting on with his teammates.
Maybe that’s something our protagonists will end up exploiting?
This episode was predictable, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Gram’s straight face while facing off against nameless swordwoman was amusing. “Ho hum, been here, done that”.
Sales droids are everywhere…
I don’t think that I should take this show seriously as lessons in business, but it’s interesting…
She’s right to be suspicious of them.
This guy will say anything to get a sale, and hope the team collectively bail him out…
If they ever have a downfall, it’ll start like this…
I thought they were going to bring in bard girl to sing and lift everyone’s spirits, but I thought this worked better.
What happened to “Don’t tell the Sin Archbishop your name?”
Maybe now is the right time?
Marcus talks about it to Machina this episode: They recognize that problem and will have developed an alternative power source by the time they run out of immortals to burn.
Who knows what that’s going to be, and what kind of negative effects that power source will bring though…
