I am seeing the sentiment all over the place right now that says one should somehow adjust his or her principles because the electorate presumably disagrees with them. It is implied by some that there is somehow wisdom in the election results to which we need to cower. And, it is implied that not doing so is un-American, or perhaps un-democratic. All of that is nonsense, spewed by the very same unprincipled liars that have been enable the rise of fascism in the US for at least 40 years. Don’t let them lull you into accepting the autocracy that promises to enrich them at the expense of your freedoms, health, wellbeing, and wealth. Some things are just wrong, and they continue to be wrong when people support theme in mass. The republicans didn’t stop being fascists just because people voted for them.

If you encounter one of these, absolutely don’t pet it. Instead, kick it. Run over it. Perhaps, light that little robot fucker on fire. But definitely don’t pet it.

Yup, history is watching us completely drop the ball here. History is watching Joe Biden fail to rise to the occasion of addressing the onslaught of US fascism. The environment, peace, wealth, and our very freedoms are now in dire peril.

The only upside that I can anticipate is that these dumb motherfuckers may greatly hasten the weakening of this country, and hopefully speedrun toward something like an end to US hegemony around the world.

Please don’t ever be lulled into believing that there is anything normal or sane about having a carve out that makes the President not subject to laws. This country was full on founded on the idea of rejecting kings. What an absolute joke of a nation we are. It’s just mustache twirling oligarchs and drooling peasant lemmings all the way down.

As we transition into full-blown tyranny, and the out-group begins to grow, I’m trying to educate myself about how to cope with it, survive and maybe even resist. I have found that discussions among black Americans online are extremely enlightening in this regard, presumably because they have existed forever in a precarious state, something like that which many more of us are about to be thrust. I’m not interested in scapegoating black males over this election. This happened because too many Americans are dumb fucks, ruled by emotions, and gullible as hell. End of story.

Never start taking for granted that it’s not completely bat shit crazy that we live in a country where a president could plausibly make multiple criminal cases against him just go away. That is not something that rules-based societies allow. That is not compatible with a democracy, at all. If he gets away with it, never again pretend that the US is a democracy. Never ever pretend that we are guided by things like a constitution or laws. Never pretend that we cherish justice or truth. Never let the rulers, like our new fascist overlords, wrap themselves in the comforting pretense of all these virtues. If they are going to be the bigoted theocratic autocrats that Americans apparently want, then make them at least be open about their evil. Don’t let them dress it up in nonsense and pretend to be good guys. Never let the drooling masses that voted this in forget that every dead kid, every broken family, every polluted stream, every flooded city, and every grinning billionaire criminal, is on them. They wanted this.

Are we still pretending that impeachment in the US is any kind of meaningful threat to a president?

Naturally. I mean, if we’re doing this authoritarian thing now as the electorate has indicated that it wants, might as well be a less racist, less stupid authoritarian.

If the US pulls out of nato, I hope the nations of the world reform into an alliance that properly stands against US hegemony.

It’s time for the world community to start treating the United States as an environmental, economic, and military threat. We are not a partner. We don’t value the wellbeing of anyone, be they in other countries or our own for that matter.

It is if that leadership consistently refuses to learn from their mistakes and fails to mount any meaningful opposition to fascism as it creeps into more and more control over decades.

Just take a moment to marvel at the naked fiction that is law and order in this country. This is the entrenched oligarchy leaping into action, if full public view, to preserve their insulation from the very laws they use to rule you. The grotesque irony here, of course, is that this is the very “swamp” that maga dupes blab on and on about. Their lord and savior thinks so little of his moronic minions that he has no shame in flaunting his very own participation in that swamp right in front of them. Never pretend that we live in a rules-based society, nor doubt that the vast majority of Americans are among the dumbest motherfuckers to ever grace this earth.
