Probably. Let’s be real, they’d privatize gravity if they could figure out how to make it stop affecting individual people.

Also, the COST of living like that isn’t coming out of their pocket, in fact, it contributes to the amount of money in their pocket. Thanks capitalism! 😒
To put this into perspective, Musk has a net worth of around 383.3 BILLION dollars currently. Multiply 383.3 billion by 0.001 and thay comes out to 383.3 million dollars. That’s still enough money to never work another day in your life if you don’t mindlessly spend it. For the sake of the thought experiment, without accounting for any type of interest, assuming a 70 remaining years of life, even that 383 million would allow you to spend around 5.4 million PER YEAR for 70 years before you ran out of money. I probably won’t earn that much in my entire life and this dude could blow that much money in one day and it would be a rounding error.
I agree with using archive links, if only for preservation, but I didn’t know about the shorter version expiring, thanks for mentioning that because I didn’t know about it either, so now if I use an archive link, I know I need to find the longer version of it. Is there a specific way of grabbing that longer link?
You forgot the last option…[REDACTED]
Peasant: we should find a way to make produce more affordable
Well troll: yet you keep buying groceries, curious! I am very smart.
Gulf of how does this make groceries cheaper?
On Xiaohongshu, I’ve seen the comment a few times in response to your comment. “An egg broken from the outside becomes a meal, an egg broken from the inside brings new life.”
There’s a meme by the same title on Hexbear. I think he derped the post and missed the image.

LET IT BURN!
Oof, such a long read, how did they have the time to write all that?
Yeah, I have tried many, the texture still gets me every time. I’m hoping one day I’ll be find a preparation that isn’t horrible. I picked up some dry beans recently so I can see if making them from scratch is better because there’s been more than once where a pre-made version repulsed me but a homemade version turned out OK, I just need to find some good prep instructions.
Yeah, I meant like most beans end up having a gritty texture to them. The one time I had proper hummus it didn’t have that issue, so I’d assume properly roasted ones would also be ok.
Yeah, that’s what I’m expecting. I think he’s going to try and go full dictatorship in the coming years. It’s going to be interesting to see how much the “opposition” actually tries to stop him and also if SCOTUS will finish gutting the bill of rights by midterms or not. This country was already a cruel joke, now it’s going to just be cruel.
Mostly grainy mushiness, especially if it doesn’t feel like it matches the taste.
I’ll have to give them a shot. I used to hate hummus until I had some at a Greek place that made their own and discovered that it could be good. I’ll have to try roasting because I do like crunchy snacks.
Honestly, I’m not sure why I did. ADHD moment where I only processed the part about beans being cheaper and more available and missed the rest of it, would be the most likely one.
For some reason, I’m suddenly reminded of Spaceballs as well, though the issues are only tangentially related. Where did I put that can of Perri-air?
