There are political parties currently in existence in the states other than D&R. If Bernie were considering building a movement quickly he’d probably be talking to or about one, rather than nebulously asking these questions.

While a politician speaking like Bernie used to be refreshing to me, his words now feel stale. He has been a statesman since before Christ, therefore I am unimpressed at broad and simple questions like:

Though i am in no way fit to judge others whom i do not know, i strongly disagree with this. “Just doin their jobs” doesn’t hold no truck with me. If you knowingly continue to work for a killer you are explicitly consenting that your own basic human right to life is equally valid. That is to say, their claim to that right is only as strong as their commitment to that right.

At the very least it would be unfair to be surprised of that being a consequence of their lack of morality.

It’s partly gotta be my FILs fault. This guy, proudly apolitical (“they’re all crooks so i stay out of it”), voted for the first time in 2020. Now that he’s become “engaged” (watching MSNBC) he’s become absolutely insufferable. It’s the absolute worst having the world explained to me by someone like him, who knows i’ve at least been paying attention for decades. What is MSNBC’s secret sauce? How do the talking heads make him and others like him so confident that they know better?
