Newly minted lemmy-based admin chiming in, but commenting as a lemming, not as an admin.
I do not participate on reddit and my “normal” lemmy account has been here since the API fiasco. I haven’t looked back.
Right now, the more important thing is to get the message out there. I hate to say it but this instance/community NEEDS more engagement before it can be a viable vehicle for coordination. Only a handful of posts get traction. It’s like the early days of me being on lemmy: lots of voting but very few comments. So if you’re here and want this community to work, please comment and chat. While upvotes do help, engagement helps more.
