I think this people have long already disqualified their ability to speech anything worth of coherent value, why keep listening them or take note of their words? They do not follow the rules of that game, is not possible to play on the same terms so that battleground is a distraction at best, a cancer at worst.

I see, my tip was thinking in meta/tiktok-like socials rather than reddit/stackoverflow-like. But I feel that it is not too much different. Probably the error was pouring so much knowledge in such “volatile” places (in the sense of user/community not really controlling it) in the first place, but aren’t human interactions already like that? Accept them as conversations lost in time, something always survive and returns, and new things always born. A pity, sure, but a part of life. In any case, it is quite unlikely to reach in a new place in barely a few years the same quantity of information than more than a decade of knowledge in old forums, yet I feel that pian piano people contributes to the shift… in the end we are humans which enjoy of social exchanges :D

The first step is to overcome the dependence of the common forum places, being able to renounce to them, remove your profile and learn to enjoy your life without them… only then you can happily drift into a less crowded and active community for ocasional wonders and quality instead of the saturation of engagement that “that” centralised social media offers, the peer pressure to be part of the main stream…

So? He will do as he pleases, doesn’t he? Why even answer when he changes the name of a geographical landmark, threat with invasions or economic punishments? He is a bully, the most useless thing to attempt with a bully is trying to speak him into reason or concede him the recognition of dialogue capability, it just let him to probe the breaking point of the abuse, there should be zero tolerance to such being, and urge to back up all the dependencies with other allies asap, the alternative is submission up to nearly the breaking point of the abuse. That’s my opinion…

My point goes mostly to international leaders or representative people that over-react to his words and then the media look to amplify it by doing it a “new”: part of his strategy is this shit bombing upon saturation, so it buffers a space of allowance of shit actions in the public opinion that otherwise would have suffered of even more rejection if done without this probing, confusing and dragging resources in the meantime to attend this… which in the end will not matter how are they answered, prevented or reacted, he will push anyway in that direction, so I would give zero weight to all that diarrhea, shit will come willing it or not since he has the power to do it, accepting any kind of conversation with someone like that is playing a rigged game and lose terrain… why accept his ability to an exchange of opinion in the first place? why respond/listen to him? He behaves like the strongest bully, the corresponding treatment is required… join on isolating him, he will not make it easy though. This is my opinion…

I think many more than those listed are being widely used nowadays.

I think is easy to find also Japanese myths (mostly the oni/demon kind) in general and some Chinese-like ones… I found at least in one game (Genshin Impact) an attempt to use also Central American pre-Columbine mythology also and some Polynesian one (even Disney did it). African ones (below sub-Sahara ones) in general are the next less used, together other American pre-Columbine ones. Yet, the vudú-like ones (a mix of African and Caribbean ones) are quite messed up together any zombie-like archetype… and I do not know, but Lovecraft-like ones can be also found often, even not being traditional myths… and I founded many references to Babylonians and early Indo-Iranian myths, specially those linked to demons and witchcraft… and this remind me of references to druid and Keltic-like myths, which somehow permeate (comics-then-Hollywood and other artistic sources have used them). Oh, I also found frequent references to Hindu-like ones. I think the list of commonly used mythologies is already reaaaaaally large.

Mentioned all the above… I am not aware of a rich one not influenced somehow by any of the already mentioned ones, but I am fan of regional paganisms which hide many interesting dark links that predates history.
