Once the homeless population exceed police force, who’ll protect the landlords? Read some history before thinking about hyperboles.
Tech companies touting privacy with “trust us bro” slogan
I also use Wipr 2 and quite happy with it. Was using AdGuard pro before. Blocklists not being customizable is pretty annoying though. So far I haven’t felt the need to switch back.
Instance block lemmynsfw. Nearly all nsfw content come from there and you won’t see those
It hasn’t finished yet, let’s see if they can stick the landing
I follow blogs, gaming news and various other websites via RSS, and check my RSS reader couple times a day for new articles. Whenever they publish a new article, reader fetches it and there’s always something to read
I use NetNewsWire on iOS
Lemmy (also mastodon, in effect fediverse) is about quality and interaction, rather than consumption. So userbase being “tiny” is a feature. Here, your posts aren’t buried under karma farming accounts, your comments actually lead to discussions and get replies.
I’ve switched to RSS feeds for my consumption habbits
Assholes? Yes too
Saying “fuck you” would be more like “we’re no longer selling devices in uk and iCloud won’t work anymore”
Original series was a masterpiece. Aaron worked as head writer alongside the original creators.
Korra wasn’t as good. There wasn’t Aaron.
Aaron’s own series, the dragon prince, is also not very good.
So I believe those 3 together can make miracles, but separate they’re not quite good.
Personal opinion.
Aaron Ehazs was the secret sauce in the original series imo.
Same tbh. They’re clearly milking it, a-la Star Wars
I stand corrected. It indeed features an earthbending avatar with a twin: https://www.ign.com/articles/avatar-seven-havens-officially-announced-set-after-the-events-of-the-legend-of-korra
It’s not “WWF is benefitting from…”, it’s “WWF helping facilitate trade in polar bear fur, investigation reveals”. “Investigation” here refers to the article published in guardian. The proof is the lobbying WWF did. They’re complicit in allowing this, sadly. Other NGOs stood strongly against WWF: https://ssn.org/app/uploads/2019/03/Cop16_PolarBear_EN.pdf
That’d only create a black market and illegal hunting. No one needs a polar bear fur rug / coat.

There are links all over the article
WWF said in a 2013 statement: “If, at some stage in the future, polar bear populations become so diminished by climate change and habitat loss, and/or if international trade presents a greater threat, we would want to revisit the Cites listing issue. But we’re not at that point.”
Yeah lets wait until it’s too late for the species
Spotify is not owned by Tencent. It’s publicly traded, and tencent owns part of it.
There are a lot of reasons to hate Spotify (and Daniel Ek) but this is not one of it.
