Very likely.
But the Netherlands has been exceptionally trusting of the US over all other nations.

And surely this news will send a strong signal towards Russia that we are more united with our allies than anyone else and that we’ve got nothing to hide from them. /s

I’m from the Netherlands

(and the second sentence has been the actual thought process for years from anyone but me here 😢).

This is my country’s government and it isn’t about money, but about culture.

They could, but they didn’t want to.

To list of things anything you could want:

• Goods
• Services
• Relationship time, that is your partner doing things for you,
  which can be subdivided into 10 more types of wishes.

That doesn’t work. It ends up with a populace smuggling goods, black markets and foreign influence.

Furthermore, underlings who do have money will start rebellions demanding secession.

Unless the designer is a foreign influencer from a more powerful country, which can only be China. But national leaders who put puppet presidents into offices have a tendency to want their puppets to be very loyal and friendly towards them.

1. A war of liberation is not a war of aggression. He didn’t start the war. He’s ending it. It’s a two-partial-nations-in-one-country civil war that he’s now splitting off from the part that demanded secession with Ukraine and acession with Russia, since they’re Russian Ukrainians and don’t want to join an anti-Russia alliance.
2. This was a private military contracter who just failed a coup attempt for a military junta made from his own private army, and a product of the libertarian period of Russia that’s being reigned in. He should have been arrested legally for doing so, but in this case that probably was considered too risky in terms of consequences. In any case, it’s a much better idea than putting such a figure next to the president’s chair as a kind of mayor of the palace.

Trump, sure, but why would Putin be dead?
Because you don’t like him?
Because he replaced Boris Jeltsin who was similar to Javier Milei and pulled the country out of economic misery?
Because he wants to join an international payment system that’s fair instead serving US debt?
Because you hear about CIA paid figures like Navalny from USAID paid news articles, the type Trump is accused of being, but unlike Trump, aren’t billionaires, who would never be elected if not for foreign donors who expect something back from it?

Trump seems to not understand the language of Putin and insteads opts for the language of Medvedev.

Die Linke is far left? I thought it was just normal left.

Or, you know, choose to join political revolutionaries.

I’m going way way out against the standard model here.
No spacetime, no dark matter or dark energy, not even photons.
Just a ‘3D big ball of yarn single object universe’.
If light is a ‘turn of the “stick”’, then gravity is how ‘the “sticks” are binding the atoms together’.

And so there would not be any gravity waves.
And any measurement of them would then have nothing to do with gravity.

And gravity is instantateous, and if not, really really fast or planets and stars would slingshot themselves out of orbit.

If you’re openminded enough to listen to those who disagree with the standard model,
take an elastic band and turn one end. Instead of the band turning, you’ll have a twist in your band
and it takes time to unravel the twist if you let go on the other end.
That’s what will happen to the stick and this travels at lightspeed,
because this is how light works. Light works like ‘the stick’ in your example.
And if you try turning it faster the ‘elastic band’/stick/‘atom on the other end’ starts breaking.

If you need FTL communication, then use gravity…somehow.

It’s the 40s already?

Ask not how to imagine a party going left will look like, ask how going left will look like a party reimagined.

I don’t know if he was the most awful person I ever knew, but in the 45 minutes I’ve known him, he talked about his trip in Thailand that was all about drugs and women in a disturbing manner. He offered me to play throwing giant switchblades at a dartboard, which I accepted, not wanting to appear rude. Porn was playing and bags of white powder were laying around on the coffee table while we wrecked the dartboard completely. I can’t recall but I think there were also pictures of people on them to which he said that it would make the game more interesting. He then showed me the rest of his apartment. I thanked him, told him that I would need some time to think about becoming his roomie and would call him back and walked out of there never to return there again.

Didn’t call the police or mentioned this to anybody and thankfully never saw him again, so no idea.

Best representation of what the US is all about in history.
I hope to see more of it and the EU slowly wising up.
