3·15 days agoThere needs to not be “both sides”. If there is anything the US needs it is actual political representation, and that will never come with a two party-system.
In general the right left binary is not very accurate for capturing how most average people think of politics.
Which is why you need more than two political parties!

That’s kind of the point: if you zoom in on the East coast you can see some color. This just really effectively shows how little of the rail network is actually electrified.

They might not be a native English speaker. In my language (Norwegian), the word for “billion” is “milliard”. I think that’s also the case in German.
