They also state that, if a moral age of consent were to exist, that it should be no higher than the age of 8. Fucking disgusting.

ETA: Ok wow! Thanks TuxEnthusiast for making me aware: The creator of the Little Lounge is an ally to “MAPs” (stands for “Minor-Attracted Person”, which is basically a pedophile):
“18, MtF, biochemistry enthusiast, epistemology enjoyer. Occasional regressor? [REDACTED (vague contact labels are asinine)]-contact[1] ally to MAPs[…]”.
So yea, better stay away from there

eee (they/them)@lemmy.dbzer0.comtolanguagelearning@hexbear.net•Bit idea - a liberal learning German and getting offended at not only "die Ukraine" but also "die Schweiz"English2·24 days agoI read the link you provided, which was basically most people explaining that German has other grammatical rules than English which is why the article “the” in English has a different connotation than the article “die” in German and why it can’t just be dropped (all feminine and masculine countries have an article, neuter countries don’t).
I must admit that I’m a native german speaker, so the joke probably flies right above my head ;)

The government shouldn’t ever sell people’s private data - not for profit, not for anything.

Thanks.

eee (they/them)@lemmy.dbzer0.comto QueerDefenseFront@lemmy.blahaj.zone•**Discussion Question:** Streamlining LGBTQ+ Acronyms for Inclusivity and PracticalityEnglish2·28 days agoMOGAI is imho the best because it is truly inclusive of anything that isn’t cis- and/or heteronormative (including heterosexual and heteroromantic e.g.) and intersex people who would otherwise be invisible. As you said, it would be a term that wouldn’t need to be constantly extended whenever we figure out that there is more to the human experience.
“MOGAI-Community” also rolls off the tongue nicely.
In my day to day, I call myself queer (that includes for me anything from LGBTQIA+).
It really is time for Linux. The signs haven’t only been there, they’ve been bloody screaming. Dystopian as fuck.
