Absolutely true, it was mostly just a response to the “rest of the world” part of the grandparent’s comment.
Old thread is old, but there’s also /r/mustangscrashing on “the other site”.
Fun fact, many if not most of those ambulances are made in Canada, and not the USA.
What’s $1.50 compared to your hourly wage?
We already have the Smoot.
I’ll be taking my Scouts out mid-December, that’ll be our last of the year. That’ll be fun.
Can’t be, it hasn’t completely disintegrated yet.
My last two offices had showers. No communal room, but the thing I remember most about the last one is the hot water being pumped from the furnaces of hell itself. It took so long go get there, and was so hot once it did I can’t think of any other explanation.
Oh, yeah, Valve and Proton are to thank. I’m just saying Microsoft’s not blocking Proton like Epic and a few others seem to be. I can appreciate the stance of “We won’t help you, but we won’t stop you either. Good luck” that I think MS is taking with this.
Even Microsoft doesn’t seem to be actively preventing their games from running on Linux. Fuck Sweeney.
Learning that companies are doing this so you can’t install competitor’s games
Wait, wat? I hadn’t heard this explanation. I cynically thought it before, but I’ve never seen it suggested by anyone other than me.
Saskatchewan too, 28 October.
Looks like what happens when a house hippo grows up.
Charged. Not convicted. He didn’t get bail, so he’s in jail waiting for trial.
0…16 if you add fingertips.
Yup, I was friends with his older brother. Both of them were/are a bit weird, didn’t think much of either of them academically until grade 12. Then their math & and computer genious came out. Had a few university classes with them, the older brother has better social skills, but Lee is more creative IMHO.
Upshot is I played Capsized in 2009, so that was neat.
I need to try out Xonotic. I went to high school with the guy who started the original game, who runs Alientrap now.
I’ve been meaning to try the original Crysis now that I have a computer that can play it. I started it, but then life happened.
DOOM Eternal didn’t do it for me. It’s Doom-ish, but not enough. It’d be a better game if it wasn’t set in the Doom universe trying to add a bunch of non-Doom elements to the game. Doom (2016) did that too, but not to the same extent. I like the older Dooms mostly for their simplicity: get gun, see bad guy, shoot gun. Pick up health. Repeat. Doom Eternal did that, but added a story, weapon mods, and skills. Fine mechanics, but not Doom enough for me.
It’s a travesty that HP killed the HP48 series.
