Wait 30 days for „luxury“ buys and see if you still want it. That cuts down on splurging significantly.

They have the same economy as Italy.
Russia has the same economy as Italy. We take them only seriously because of their nuclear weapons.
To destabilize is the goal.
Also there are federal employees who have chronic illnesses and can‘t change employer as easily since not every other employer has the same benefits.
