I’ve been thinking a lot about how confusing it must be being a normal person in the lib media ecosystem. Like, your candidate is well received on all these shows and you’re being told that even republicans like Cheney and Kelly are on your side, so you obviously have this one in the bag. One day Bernie is too old, the next day you’re not supposed to mention Biden is senile. You’re supposed to simultaneously believe Trump’s border policy is evil, and that the dems are smart for being even tougher.

I just wonder if they genuinely get confused, or if they see all this stuff too but just ignore it as part of a shared fiction.

Given that they didn’t run on trans issues, they’re really arguing that it’s damaging for trans people to be in the party at all, or associated with it in any way. So oblige them.

Next cycle, when the vote-shaming kicks into gear, I’ll calmly explain that I’m not voting for their ghoul because I don’t want to harm their electoral chances.

I’ve been to shows where right before the last two songs they preannounce they don’t do encores, and then blast full energy into the final two songs. The crowd was chill with it and didn’t try to force one.

I always figured part of the reason more artists don’t is they just want to have some water, a keybump, or a bathroom break or something before they close out.

It really depends on the dish. I think for a burrito bowl, probably tofu. You don’t really need to press it that much if you’re just going to crumble and pan fry. If you can find a superfirm especially, just crumble and fry. You can just cook out the moisture.

I finally tried that pumpkin seed tofu the other day (chorizo spiced). It’s way too expensive, but damn it makes such a good crumble. It’s fattier than soy tofu, so it really lends itself to something like chorizo. I hope it catches on because I’d like to see the price drop.

Not sure where you live, but if you don’t live in a swing state, you’re wasting your vote if you DON’T vote third party.

Matching public campaign funds are calculated nationally. If you’re in a solid red/blue state then you’re 100% wasting your vote on a major party, because they opt out of public funds, an your vote isn’t going to change a built-in 10% difference in the tally. But if you vote 3rd party, you’re voting into a national pool that could potentially get that 3rd party automatic ballot access and matching federal funds for campaigning.

So if you’re like the majority of us, in a state that doesn’t matter, then you can just levy the accusation right back at them and ask why they’re wasting their vote.
