Google’s search results have definitely declined in recent years. It’s why I’ve mostly been using Perplexity for searching now.

Kobo is the only other manufacturer I know of that gets fairly good reviews. Do Boox devices really fail that much? I haven’t heard that.

My only complaint is not enough people commenting on / interacting with posts. I’m guilty of it myself (I was also mostly a lurker on Reddit) so I’m not trying to blame anyone but Lemmy often feels like a ghost town.
