A bit less, yeah, but most of the difference vanishes when controlling for certain factors.

Maybe. The pay gap is mostly explained by what sorts of jobs men and women go for. Women go for flexible working conditions that pay less. So it comes down to whether men without degrees can still out-earn women with college degrees by working longer less flexible hours.
What will they think when those things don’t happen? Some conspiracy shit?
The war room was a joke in Dr. Strangelove, so of fucking course it became a real thing.
Do angry incels want to spend more on electronics?
Your dad reminds me of my wife’s uncle. He has a disabled wife and is absolutely DROWNING. Apparently, this is all immigrants’ fault and Trump will solve his problems.
He’s also a raging alcoholic, and seems to be terrorizing his wife. His adult son hangs around, I think fearing what would happen to her if he left.
I see nothing in the article that indicates Trump himself feels this way. What his “advisors” think is irrelevant.
I think his argument is not about vibes, though.
So, I’m supposed to believe that working class people care about policy and that’s why they abandoned Democrats.
And because they care so much about pro-worker policy they voted for Trump?
Our system was designed to not be fixable.
My only solace is that he’ll take part in the insane suffering that’s coming.
Thanks for writing this for me.
I’m in the same boat. I’m a white straight guy. So, I guess I’m not in immediate danger, although I am an academic. So, I guess my choices are: fight, flee or essentially hide.
Fighting seems infeasible although I think violence is justifiable.
Fleeing would require leaving the country. I dunno if I can swing that.
So…I guess I just live my life and hope it’s not quite as bad as I fear? I dunno. I’m open to advice.
I do now hate this country and the bulk of the people who live here. Fuck them.
Gaza gets wiped out even faster now on top of all the other bad things the GOP want.
Not that I believe that Gaza dissenters mattered at all in this election. I’d be amazed if even 1% of voters considered it a factor for their vote.
Vance thinks “normal” gay men are like him: closeted and married to women.
Ok probably not sincere.
The contentiousness is what put killing the filibuster on the table. In less contentious times, we didn’t need to destroy basic political norms just to save people’s lives.
It takes basically no effort to vote. Things are clearly better with Harris winning than Trump.
Win the WH, win both houses of Congress, blow up the filibuster and enact national protections for abortion.
Will it work? Probably not. It definitely won’t happen if Trump wins, though.
Plus if Trump wins, Alito and Thomas retire and get replaced by 25 year old fascists and things get even worse for decades.
I dunno if you were being sincere or intentionally obtuse, but it’s kind of straightforward that we have to win.
They always say it’s for creating the images, but it’s always actually for distributing the images.
I think probably MAGA falls apart as no one can galvanize these people like he does. What do you think will happen?
You don’t think being backed by the state has helped the dollar achieve widespread adoption?
