Also I agree that Firefox looks kind of ugly out of the box, but if you use gnome this “Firefox Gnome Theme” users chrome theme makes it gorgeous

I’ve been looking forward to watching this project mature. In used to wish there was a Firefox based browser similar to Vivaldi.
This is impressive I love to see another addition to the Libadwaita family
I’ve used this recently and it works pretty well. AppImage isn’t my cup of tea but it’s hard to argue with “it just works”
I was thinking the same, I don’t doubt they keep the idea open but I doubt we’ll see one any time soon with the current state of foldables.
Yeah considering OP already uses mostly open software and prefers things to be up to date I think fedora is a good option. If they use gnome then flatpak might suit them nicely, it has matured nicely. Only thing is that it won’t be as familiar to them coming from Ubuntu and its derivatives, but I don’t think it’s that tough of a transition to make.
Okay that’s good to know! I’ll look forward to giving it a listen once I finish the archives!
crazy face to see round these parts again
I’m not yet finished with the first season but after some build up it has had some really nauseatingly good moments. I think at the moment though, the most horrifying aspect is the society it’s building up.
Yeah for real, the way the good gods are introduced as “civilized alternatives” and then are revealed to still be so awful. The slag king sticks out and so do the stewards (the train ppl) particularly. I’m sympathetic to your audio issues I have the same issue with this and the magnus archives on most platforms, but the (proprietary ) podcast app I use now, pocket casts, has this lil voice boost feature that makes them a bit more listenable.
The grinding lord is so strange I wasn’t really paying attention to the state of the radio guy until now and he’s really going through it
Just worked through episode 7 and yeah the world building and writing is incredible. I’ll look forward to encountering her in that case!
Do I need to finish the Magnus archives before listening to the Magnus protocol? I’ve heard amazing things but I’ve been loving going through it blind and I didn’t want to risk spoiling anything by jumping to it so soon
Been meaning to watch this for ages
