I think many people don’t realize they focus too much on short-term issues, which are actually symptoms of deeper systemic problems. For instance, the two-party system in the US stems from election campaigns not being publicly funded and also the “winner-takes-all” electoral system instead of proportional representation. I would bet you already know about these issues but still I don’t see them being discussed in media and that’s where every big change must begin. And that’s also what I think should answer your question. Instead of spreading awareness of the current problems at hand, you should focus on the deep issues and instead spread awareness of them. That’s my opinion at least.
Yeah and I’d say these people left are exactly those Elon wants, he doesn’t want white guys in their 50s, he wants obedient young guys.

Poah, tut mir leid, das war etwas salopp von mir dahin geschrieben. Ich wollte damit sagen, dass aktuell enorm viele ukrainische Soldaten sterben. Auf russischer Seite ebenfalls. Davon mit Sicherheit viele, die nicht vor hatten ihre letzten Stunden auf dem Schlachtfeld zu verbringen.
Eine so nationalistische Denkweise, dass man bereit ist “für sein Land zu sterben” haben nicht viele, erst recht nicht die Familien die die gestorbenen Soldaten zurücklassen. Die Soldaten die lebendig wieder nach Hause zurückkehren werden Kriegstraumata haben, welche die Gesellschaft über Generationen belasten.
In so fern, wäre es meiner Meinung nach für die ukrainische und russische Bevölkerung besser gewesen, hätte man keinen Waffen zur Unterstützung geschickt und somit einen kurzen aber hoffentlich schmerzlosen Krieg mit Kapitulation am Ende gehabt.
Die Situation ist einfach scheiße, da kann man nichts beschönigen. Aber bitte lasst uns wenigstens hier einen klaren Kopf bewahren und nicht so emotional aufgeladen dem Anderen einen rostigen Nagel in der Harnröhre wünschen, dafür ist Twitter schließlich besser geeignet…

Naja beidseitige Eskalation in der Ukraine wünscht sich scheinbar hier die Mehrheit auf Lemmy. Man sollte nicht vergessen, dass die Ukraine riesige Korruptionsprobleme hat. Die Bevölkerung dort leidet mächtig unter dem Krieg, aber gut Hauptsache die nationalistische Idee der Ukraine bleibt bestehen.
Hätte man von Anfang an die Ukraine nicht unterstützt wär der Krieg bereits vorbei. Es wären viele Menschen noch am Leben. Klar das wäre dann russisches Territorium aber ich würde Menschenleben immer über das einer Nation stellen. Eine Nation lässt sich neu gründen.
