YouTube sucks, but it’s not a monopoly. It’s nowhere close to one. Monopolies are not “there’s only one product.” People love spouting monopoly to every mainstream product like iPhone and Windows.

YouTube has plenty of competition in video hosting. There’s more professional high cost ones like Netflix. Less giving but just as easily accessible is TikTok. Hell there’s even PornHub.

Just because YouTube has a unique combination of services that has allowed self employment for many people that can’t get it easily on existing sites does not mean that competition does not exist. Many content creators on YouTube actually advertise a competing site on YouTube.

Before we can start offering solutions we need to have a good understanding on what the problem is and what it isn’t.

You had me until missing an interview is not your fault. When I got an interview I wrote that date and time on everything. I couldnt go five feet without a reminder. If you miss an interview (barring medical or personal emergency) that’s on you, but I guess that’s an unpopular opinion.

I’m certainly not pro military, but if I was NK I would focus on military parades too. Every year(?) the U.S. and SK practice invading NK the people who live near the DMZ are always under threat or told that they are under threat of invasion. So yeah dump trucks with missile launchers are great, because of nothing else the people near the DMZ know they can at least have mutually assured destruction on their side.

There are entire generations of people who have lived in the fighting grounds of the U.S. and China. These parades show that these people will still put up a fight for their home.

So yeah us rich and militaristic Americans can always have a good laugh at the poor parts of the world we threaten.

This is such a bullshit stance to take. Yes people respond differently to different forms of criticism, but saying if you just asked nicely people will change really sounds like, “It’s your fault they are bad. Just be nice. Don’t you remember when we asked Hitler nicely to not be a dick and he stopped killing people?”

He’s a racist and sexist piece of shit. His legacy is still being used to push the “good 'ol boys” mentality and toxic Christian evengalicalism.

MHW is a fantastic game and I recommend it especially if you have friends to play with you or you pick it up on sale. I actually just went back to the game this week.

That said it is nothing like the games you mentioned, so if that’s what you want you won’t find it here. MHW is more gameplay focused and really boils down to fight big monsters to get big weapons to fight bigger monsters. There is really good catch up gear so you don’t have to grind until you get to “end game” but end game is really the beginning of the game. Grinding isn’t too bad, if you want a specific build kill the monster(s) that provide that build a few times and you’ll be mostly there. It’s only the finer details that you need to grind for. Monsters scale to the number of players, but some of them are pretty rough to fight by yourself. All in all my only real gripes about the game are that the menus are annoying to navigate and that the more complex parts of the game aren’t explained very well in game, so be ready for a couple of tutorials.
