  • In addition, the party must intend to impair or eliminate the free democratic basic order. Elimination means “the abolition of at least one of the essential elements of the free democratic basic order or its replacement by another constitutional order or another system of government”.

Seems like a catch 22. They would need the party to be in power and to try and dismantle the democratic elements before they get a ban. But wouldn’t it be too late then? Because if they’re in power, what’s stopping them from reducing the courts to puppet shows? (like arguably what’s slowly happening in the US) or what happened in the 1940s.

From what I can tell (I am an outsider), the party’s manifesto seems to aim to do exactly that. Is that not a reasonable enough reason? I know they aren’t outright nazis themselves, but I’ve heard whispers and about connections to those who are openly nazis themselves. Like elon Musk who is openly a nazi.

Are the courts confident the Afd won’t pull a Nazi third reich? I wonder if the checks and balances in germany are stronger than those in other countries. In the end, it will only matter to whom the police listens to.

Banning them seems like a question of political will, instead of having the right procedure in place.

  • My fucking Brain. I have severe ADHD, and difficulty understanding concepts that are even more than a little complex. I forget stuff so easily. I fucking hate it so much, it is massively fucking frustrating.

I have passion, time and a want to be better. But changing myself is like walking barefoot through a narrow corridor, shoulder wide and full of glass shards on both the walls and the ground. All the while I keep forgetting where the exit is, even as it is right infront of me. Things that should take normal people a day to do, takes me more than a month. I hate it, I hate that it takes me so much time. And only fear drives me to do things, WHY? Why can’t it be something that I want to do instead of fucking fear. I fucking hate that. It’s like my brain has some bottleneck that just can’t be gotten rid of.

If I weren’t lucky with my circumstances, I would have killed myself.

I remember first learning about linux OS and how to create a Linux USB installer using rufus to bypass the password my parents had put on the windows side. In those days there was no eifi boot loader lock you could access the files just by trying out the new OS you had in your USB. LOL.

  • The CCP is special. It’s politicking very much takes it’s people’s happiness (or the people perceived happiness) into account.

Also While they do allow the whole weath inequality gap to increase, they very much control the wealthy, instead of having it the other way around.

Imo, other countries can learn a thing or two. For the CCP dudes, there’s no next election cycle to start ramping up actual work that needs to be done to get them elected again. For them it’s over, if they don’t keep their people happy (content/fooled) and they’re the only goddamn authoritarians that understand that. They understand this, so they keep a tight leash on every enterprise, bank and institution within the country and plan extensively.

That’s what the governments need to do, let only the people’s vote control them and not any money, lobbying, institution or rich person.

  • The Austrians did elect the FPO back. Did they forget about their incompetency?

I think something more is at play here. Maybe tiktok? Russian interference? Not sure.

I also think it may be because the root problem is not being solved. Late stage capitalism - housing crisis, unemployment and such.

The far right point to immigrants and blames them for it, but the establishment parties also do very little, too late, to solve the issues well either. Then the election cycle comes and people want a reset. A vicious cycle.

I feel like this calls for radical shift in how society operates, doesn’t it (just openly balling)?

I am not saying communist revolution. But I also think we’ve spent too much time kissing rich asses in the name of “we are benefiting from this, keep doing it”. Now that economies don’t grow as fast anymore, the “trickle down” effect isn’t working and people are getting poorer and angrier.

The rich don’t care as long as they can make short term profit, so they keep supporting whoever will help them with that.

There needs to be a change. Or at least the greens, the left need to get some balls, strong leaders and implement some kind of FDResque or clement atleesque policies.

What we need is to give the rich incentives to be happy with what they have and have a stronger government approach to handling things. Avoiding bloodshed is important, don’t want to end up like USSR. Maybe until we figure out unlimited energy we can let the rich be dicks but not let them be too much of dicks.

    This was a weird rant…
