The complaints of rising housing costs should be alleviated. Although there are probably a lot of people under water on their mortgages now. Perfect for private equity to snatch up.

I don’t think companies should be able to use the recycling symbol unless they can ensure that the majority of what they produce gets recycled.
And in California, state law is expected to restrict the chasing arrows for most packaging made of plastic, unless there’s evidence that the plastic is widely collected and turned into new products within the state.
Thankfully, California agrees.
“Maybe the representation isn’t perfect, but it’s politics,” he said. “You’re able to kind of look past it.”
Isn’t one of Trump’s appeals is that he is not a politician? The side is able to look past or because he does not give a shit about his neighbors.
Compared to Russia, Ukraine is a free and fair democracy. They are much higher on the democracy index compared to Russia. The parts under the Russian regime are currently far from it though.
Ukrainians were winning the war with US support?
Considering Russia is having to use third rate mercenaries and troops from around the world, clearly Putin knows that the Russian populace does not have the appetite to keep losing 1-2k every day. He is hard up enough to have to get a week’s worth of casualties from North Korea. They may be making territorial gains but that is at a massive cost.
Hell, just yesterday the Texas Supreme Court overruled bipartisan legislators overturning an innocent man’s execution.
This is Texas so I would not count on it being overturned.
That and the fact that he thought it was a good idea to throw an ax at a small target that had people behind. And his white supremacist tattoo. And the dude does not wash his hands after he shits. It’d be a shame if he and RFK Jr got cholera and/or hep C.
It can be argued that the Kennedy tax cuts paid for themselves. Other examples like the Baltic states that switched to a flat income tax and sales tax is more due to moving to something simple and more difficult to cheat.
Other than that, Laffer (famous for the Laffer Curve which was foundational to trickle down economics) and apparently the Kansas legislature are the only ones that think tax cuts for the rich help.
Again??? Do people have collective fucking amnesia? Massive tax cuts failed horribly a decade ago and ruined Kansas’ growth. Trying it again is just batshit.
You do realize those territories are not just land, right? There are millions of Ukrainians that live on that land that will now be under a dictator.
Zelenskiyy almost certainly realizes that without American support, which will almost certainly be ending, it’s a lost war. But at least you seem to recognize that Putin does not care about the 2000 Russian casualties that happen every day and would prefer to put millions of Ukrainians under his thumb.
Wow. That is a pretty shitty defense.
Thank you! I looked it up before and the only thing I found was that the default setting had changed.
Default after Pixel 5 is to bring up Google Assistant with a long press of the power button.
And to get the reboot option on Pixels, long press Power and Volume Up. Infinitely more annoying than just long pressing the power button.
Correct. But the same goes for Bluesky.
I wish they would cite numbers proving this. Usage on another platform does not necessarily indicate an exodus. Bluesky may have seen a jump in users by a million but that only puts it up to 17 million users which is not much compared to Twitter’s 250 million daily users.
You hear that, @frandrescher? Head over to Bluesky and/or Mastodon and take your minions with you!
Note: I have no idea how to Twitter.
I also got that article recommendation and had a good laugh.
There is a slight learning curve to Mastodon. Is there a method for verifying accounts? Honest question there. I signed up for Mastodon years ago but I used it as often as I used Twitter which is to say never.
Unless Musk somehow copied himself several times, he is working remote for most of his companies each day.
