I think they’re about to jump in the hot springs behind them so the outfits make sense.

I’m the weird one who just uses shallots for everything. I prefer the milder flavour.
She’s not allowed to dance offsite at a private party but if you go to the school’s YouTube channel there are a couple cringy music videos of all the staff dancing (including the principal) on school property during working hours. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qjnPeUOMjo
And why was he even watching these videos in the first place. They would have just been fun videos the friends made to share with each other outside of school. This was just about him being turned on by watching an under age girl dancing and then punishing the girl for his feelings.
Brontosaurus!
An American can get an abortion now at the existing clinics in Canada if they want, and if there is availability, they just have to pay for the procedure because they wouldn’t be covered under the provincial health plan.
Godzilla (2014) The trailer showed it as a Godzilla movie starring Bryan Cranston. Instead Cranston only had a brief cameo at the start of the movie and the whole movie was about a couple MUTO creatures, not Godzilla. Godzilla basically only had a couple cameos in the movie. I think most people who didn’t like it just didn’t like being tricked by the trailer.
I watched to video for the camp-let and that seemed like a lot of work to setup. My family used to have pop-up trailers and they were pretty easy and quick to just pop-up and pull the beds out. The camp-let doesn’t look like it would be good for North America. It’s basically a big tent with your cooking grill inside which you dont want in bear country. That would make the whole inside smell like food and attract bears. Pop-up trailers are a little sturdier around and can even be hard sided so we didn’t worry about bears when we used it. We were able to store ours for the winter on a friend’s farm though. Also the bottom of the tent is open so ticks and mosquitoes coming from the grass seem like an issue unlike a full tent.
I think you would be better off just getting a pop up trailer if you can find somewhere to store it, or a fancy 2 room tent with cots and a separate BBQ that you can use outside away from the tent.
“I regret that my fondness for cows, combined with an overactive imagination, may have carried me beyond what is comprehensible to the average Far Side reader.” -Gary Larson
It took place in Toronto. The news paper is just from Winnipeg.
Long press would be good for selecting text though.
I like the comment collapse feature. It’s nice to be able to quickly collapse a long comment group. I’ve clicked on links before without a problem.
Defederating would block the entire lemmit.online instance, including all their communities and users. Banning the bot would only block the one user account. According to their FAQs though there is currently only the one user so it would have the same effect, but they might make other user bots in the future.
I was able to just block the user but I had to do it from the desktop site. Blocking wasn’t working for me from any of the apps at the time. Login on the website and click on the bot username then there will be a Block User button from their page. You won’t see their posts anymore from the website or the app your using.
Oh, Maybe I was thinking more of r/wildernessbackpacking, r/campingandhiking, or r/hikingcanada type subs. When I say I’m going to the backcountry I mean hiking and camping, but I also don’t live near mountains so it’s probably more regional to me. Maybe that’s why I never subscribed to r/backcountry, it’s just been so long since I joined a bunch of subs I can’t remember. I think it would be good to have a separate summer vs winter community.
I was excited for a backcountry sub but I see it’s just for winter skiing and snowboarding. That name is kind of confusing. I was hoping it was for backcountry camping and hiking like on Reddit.
Omg, that is a beautiful dog! I want to pet it.
