My sister in law pointed out that I’m running out of time to have a kid both because of my age and the fact that my mother has stage 4 cancer.
That conversation lead to my alcoholic partner going on a huge binge last night.

The Hatton Garden heist was an audacious robbery in 2015 where a bunch of old dudes made off with £14m in jewellery.

Valhalla was such a slog.
I’ve got high hopes for Mirage and Hexe.
I got my account by reading the FAQ’s and emailing directly.
It seems more of a step to weed out low effort posters which I’m not mad at tbh.
The irony of women taking the flack for these depictions when Hollywood is overwhelmingly written and directed by men :’)
Go tell Favreau to show realistic male bodies.
This one really got me the other day.

I’ve not seen any mention of it so I’ll do a plug for Mare of Easttown which was fucking brilliant.
One shot mini series starring Kate Winslet as a tortured detective, her family dynamic in the show is the whole reason to watch.
Highly recommend.
Ted Lasso is an interesting one, it was a breath of fresh air for the first season, the second started to get bit weird with the Nate storyline seeming to devolve to an epic degree out of nowhere, and then season 3 felt wholly unresolved with some really strange choices (except the Amsterdam episode which was wonderful).
The female characters in S3 were also extremely one note and overly tragic, if included at all (what even was Keely’s story arc in the end? And the teacher ended up nothing?).
A few stand out moments here and there and a great show for progressive masculinity but overall I felt like the writing was really not on sure footing and I would hope they don’t reach for a 4th season.
What I wouldn’t give to watch Succession all over again for the first time.
Warms my cockles to see it still running.
Rob Manuel was on RHLSTP not long ago, good ep, well worth a listen.
As a woman it took 15 years before I found out what was wrong, at the time of finally seeing someone about it they said this was an average amount of time it takes to get help.
I hope you’re doing better now.
