  • You may be joking, but the ones that are just a trough with no barriers at all between them I always hated. I don’t want my shoulders touching 1 or 2 other guys while holding my dick in my hand trying to convince myself I am not to nervous to pee.

They were common in country themed bars for a while, I would have to be drunk and NEEDing to pee to be able to go. So usually I just stopped going to those places.

  • To me porn is a tough one. A lot of porn now seems to be individuals creating and sharing what they wish, within their own comfort zones. The stuff created by companies on the other hand does induce further pressures of people pushing people to do things they may not have chosen to do if they had created it themselves. All genders get pushed into doing shit by companies to perform things based off promises that are strictly manipulation and it is predatory. Companies will look to market trends / gaps that sell more advertisements/products.

If someone is choosing to share something without manipulation, I think it is ethical and just work. The question is how do you root out predatory practices companies perform without banning companies altogether. As banning them will inevitably take away the lobbying that keeps evangelicals or such from trying to ban it all together.

It needs to be safer, but I’m not sure how we can get there. Maybe someone else will throw in some ideas

  • Normally liquids are pretty standard, but I picked up a gallon of milk the other day and thought I must be sick or something. I handed it to my partner and she was along the same lines that it was extremely heavy. Not sure what happened there, but usually they weight around 4kg, this one had to be a lot more, 6kg maybe. I needed extra money to pay for some debts, so I was working instacart at nights. So I probably picked up 50 of them a week, always felt the same, this one… Not a single clue how it weighed so much, I figure if it goes bad the sun of the ingredients should be the same, its a closed environment.

  • I’d say a bit of both. The numbers they showed for it if I remember was that they spent $150m to catch like $100,000 of fares that were skipped. Then throw in 4 people dead and you didn’t do much to help. You just made it more miserable for people travelling.

With fares making up 23% of your income, and payroll taking up over 30% of expenses… Odds are they could cut the number of guards patrolling tolls, ticket sales people, customer service reps, maintenance workers for all the machines/guard terminals etc by a shit ton and make the transportation free, and offset the costs elsewhere. It would also likely boost the economy of the area, do to people not needing to scrape together a couple dollars to take the train and spending it at businesses they otherwise may normally avoid do to costs or not having that extra few dollars.

  • NOAA, the organization that they plan to break up, downsize and commercialize sections such as it’s forecasts.

PBS article about their plans: The National Weather Service should become a “performance-based organization” held accountable for achieving specific results, even if the head of the agency must “deviate from government rules” to achieve those results.

The document said little about the National Hurricane Center. It said the administration should “review the work of the National Hurricane Center” and that “data collected by the department should be presented neutrally, without adjustments intended to support any one side in the climate debate.”

_----- What is the climate debate? Oil companies agree their actions accelerate it… So the only debate would be, do our profits from accelerating harm to the world and the human race offset our best interest over theirs? Profits vs Human race & health of the Earth.

When we know there are usable alternatives that are being made more profitable daily. They also take away trade dependencies traversing oceans long term. We can gather all the energy we need within our own borders and assist other countries in doing so as well. Instead we put more oil executives in charge of our futures and wonder why we keep coming back to well, maybe we should use oil instead.

Everyone pro more oil is anti life. “Think of the kids” my ass, the only interest they have in kids is fucking them over.

  • Yeah if she agreed to build more of that it would be stupid. Really most of the policies we need changed unfortunately are legislative. Immigration policy, subsidy changes, restrictions on how houses/rentals work. The only real thing that the president should be dealing with right now is foreign policy, encouraging the EPA to push for stricter guidelines and reforms and l how we can pay for systematic upgrades that keep up with the times, but they can’t do shit without Congress signing it now thanks to the SC. And oh, police reform. That’s one they could work on. Ultimately it would end up back at the legislative branch needing to write something, but that could be all based off the evidence and tactics developed and put together by the executive branch federally to create a uniform requirement to punishments and procedures when it comes to warranted/unwarranted searches, appropriate/inappropriate actions, penalties for breaking procedures and a standardized review company/board that is unbiased outside of the policing agency under the investigation. Once again, all would have to be written and signed in by Congress …

Tarrifs are a horrible idea, but subsidizing products or creating new pathways to good trade deals with countries that have the most people fleeing to America do to inflation issues would also be in our best interest. It would help those counties stabilize their economies, create jobs and thereby slowing the need to flee their country and eventually stabilize that region while building good relations and actually not being seen as terrible from outside sources looking to increase trade relations in the future.

Not to mention, shipping farm raised fish from the U.S. to China, to package them, and then have them shipped back to the U.S. just because labor costs seems ridiculous no matter what, but such items shipped to South America decreases fuel usage, and creates jobs as well.

South America is our neighbor, it’s time we treat them as such. Throw in legalizing weed, mushrooms, and maybe a couple other non issue drugs, and all the sudden we cut off a lot of entry level drug dealer sales. The more lower sales we cut, the less money we are feeding back into Mexicos cartels. The cartels lose money, slowly they lose power and Mexico stabilizes more and more. Trade builds jobs, their already decreasing population trying to come here decreases more and more, and they are able to invest more in securing their futures.

If Trump wanted to make America great, he’d start by realizing America is around 35 countries. For us to thrive, the rest must thrive around us.
