No, I didn’t have a Genesis/Mega Drive and the only friend who had it never got the game either. I did look into playing it with an emulator, but never had the time.

Pretty sure it was the SNES Shadowrun for me. I was already familiar with Shadowrun from books and the tabletop RPG and I got a Swedish copy of it because the english version wasn’t available yet. I eventually got a used copy of the English version as well.
I did play Deus Ex at some point after and I had great time with it, but I don’t think I ever played the second game for some reason.
I recall trying the OG Syndicate game at some point as well, but I’m pretty sure that well after I had exhausted the first 2 X-com games, and I was looking for more strategy stuff. No idea really when that was, but definetely after Shadowrun.
You going sometime soon? Around December the temps tend to plunge and Jan-Feb can be really cold, somewhere around -40C, potentially with some wind and blowing snow making it feel even colder. Highly recommend good outside set, with winter boots, gloves and the rest of clothing meant for that sort of weather, especially if you expect you would need to be outside for a while. I like the overall type pants and winter rubber boots big enough to fit wool socks in myself. :P Might be difficult to buy good quality stuff if you live somewhere much warmer. Probably worth asking whoever is hosting you for some help there. They might even have extra sets available already. Houses up there are typically very warm, so nothing special needed for inside use. Otherwise maybe a camera that is good in low light if you like to take pictures. Should get some good northern lights and stuff if you’re up there a whole month.
No, no no no no!
Where the fuck you store it though? A shitty car you can park anywhere, a horse is gonna take some space. Especially for us poor fucks where the temperature drops below freezing for part of the year. Car just maybe not gonna start today, a horse might not start ever again.
Like most everything else, you gotta cook it right for it to be good. To be fair I like pork mostly when it’s cooked until it starts to fall apart (ham, pulled pork and so on).
You can take a look at their post history and that will typically tell a lot more than a number next to their name
Probably app specific formatting thing? Jerboa had a similar issue a while ago, but it went away after it was updated
Yeah they were there just shooting civilians as usual accidentally got someone important lol.
Because they don’t like cabbages
Lol also “vaccines” in quotes, sure sign it’s super trustworthy source
A game of rampant capitalism
Yeah I think everything that I’m aware of uses version numbers, not that the numbers necessarily make much sense either
Least suspicious would probably be in whatever package they come in. When I travel with my family, we do usually bring most meds in a zip lock bag and we’ve had zero issues so far though. Anyway it doesn’t typically matter, assuming the meds are not restricted in the country you’re going to. I wouldn’t expect many OTC meds would be.
I’ve never played that one, but the SNES Shadowrun was a lot of fun.
Somehow they also designed them so the tube goes stale roughly 2 minutes after opening it. Also the lovely texture reminiscent of sawdust. Truly a marvel of engineering.
Comparing Lemmy and Reddit is a bit icky in general, but for something I would like to see is improved cross-posting. Something like an option to show them as one post with shared votes and comments. A good chunk of that would probably be on the front end and there’s probably some pretty funky edge cases with how federation works. Also I’m sure a lot of people would not want that, so it would have to be optional I guess.
Yeah my youngest kid was on the middle of her second school year when the lockdown started. She was so anxious around people when in person school started again. She’s gotten somewhat better in the past couple years, but still not quite the same.
